Our recent stay at Novotel Singapore (Room-711) was unfortunately far below expectations, primarily due to the conduct of the staff and the lack of basic guest sensitivity. At the time of arrival, my wife was holding our sleeping three-year-old child, and we had requested early check-in. Although the team declined early check-in (which we fully understand), we specifically informed them that we would return by the official check-in time and requested that the room be kept ready. When we returned—even an hour after the official check-in time (around 4 PM)—the room was still not prepared. Instead, we were asked to queue again, which was extremely inconvenient given our situation. When we sought clarification, the staff member at the reception (name sounded like “Thusin”) responded in an unprofessional and raised tone. Rather than offering support or prioritizing the check-in considering a small child, the interaction felt dismissive and disrespectful. This was not an isolated incident—during breakfast, we observed another guest being spoken to in a similarly rude manner. Housekeeping standards were also disappointing. Despite being out of the room the next day for several hours, the room was not cleaned upon our return. For a brand like Novotel, this level of service and guest handling is unacceptable. We genuinely expected a more courteous, organised, and guest-focused experience. I hope the management reviews these concerns seriously and takes corrective action to ensure other guests do not face similar issues.

Lovely hotel and well located as loved the shopping across the road in mall. Thank you for our lovely welcome with swans on bed and small cake as anniversary. Booked at $298 sgd as Australian however charged $368 and was higher than rate at the time. Will recommend to friends as nice experience
