Horrible stay, service and rude staff (not all)

Horrible stay & service with very rude and unhelpful staff (not all of them though). Stayed at Novotel around the world, but never have I experienced this kind of service, rudeness and just overall stay I understand its a budget category hotel and was running upto its capacity, but yet this low services is ridiculous - They couldn't prepare food for my toddler There was no one to really take charge and bring it forward My toddler has practically stayed on snacks during the long stay there. - Worst is the main restaurant is outsourced, hence the hotel does not have any control over its working. Had a word with the manager of the hotel with the hope that my toddler can get good meal on the last breakfast. Received it over cooked and slightly burnt - I had bathroom clogged on the day we checked in Many such incidents but completely unexpected out of brand Novotel and from ALL group of hotels Will definitely not be staying here again

Check-in experience was not so good, as many guests was not in line and everyone just rushing each other. Receptionist was kind enough to speed up process for everyone. The room was clean, neat, good shower, and the service was amazing. Breakfast was ok, there's enough variety for everyone. Check-out experience was the worst, horrible, special mention to mr. John Jivan. He told me that we need to bring the room key for check-out process. Ok, so I went back and gave him the roomkey and I asked him if everything was settled, and he told me 'yes, everything is fine' I asked him if I can go, and he told me yes we can just leave and go from the hotel. Then, I remembered about our credit card that was blocked by the hotel, so I came back and asked him about it. So, he asked for my credit card and checked and he said there's an amount that need to be reversed back to me. I'm surprised that he didnt stop me from leaving the hotel and he didnt check about this earlier! And when I asked him why he let me leave the hotel, the amazing John Jivan told me that he didnt say that and he asked me for my credit card earlier. Cant trust this man, must beware and check everything yourself before proceeding check-out from the hotel.

Friendly staff, good location

The location was great for me as I have mobility challenges and the Farrer Park MRT and numerous food providers and shops were nearby. I also appreciated the lift that took me from the driveway up to the lobby as steps are a challenge. The gentleman looking after guests at the driveway was very helpful. The reception staff were welcoming.

Noisy stay

Kids running around till early in the morning. People having loud calls in the hallway. I'm just happy i had my ear plus so i was able to drown out most of it. My friends staying in other rooms weren't as lucky.
