I am truly sorry that your experience fell short of the Accor standards you have come to expect, and for the stress this caused—especially after a long journey. Regarding payment, you had booked a Red Hot Room non refundable promotional rate, which requires prepayment. Our hotel unfortunately does not have American Express payment facilities, which is why our team sent you a secure OMISE payment link as an alternative. We understand your hesitation with email links, and we will make sure our communication clearly explains that OMISE is a secure, Accor approved payment method. At check-in, our night manager initially attempted to process the charge in THB, but the transaction could not be validated by the system. When we switched to processing in AUD, the payment went through (attached for payment slip made in AUD) On the welcome drink, coconut water is not part of our offering (we do not stock it); however, our team should have proposed a young coconut as an alternative. We will address this with the team to ensure more flexible, guest focused solutions in the future. Please also note that, due to frequent no-shows on non-refundable bookings from Accor members, we are strictly enforcing Accor’s Non-Refundable Rate prepayment policy to protect availability and pricing for all guests. We understand some other Accor properties may not encounter the same challenges and may therefore adopt a more flexible approach.
