We came to Novotel given our past experience with the brand. But unfortunately we were surprised by the following - 1. No bell boys to receive guests with baggage. We had to pull our own baggage. And to add to that there was no ramp to carry heavy suitcases. 2. No lifts in the hotel— it was a tedious task to walk up and down the stairs every time we had to get out of our room. For elderly people, this isn’t an ideal hotel 3. Breakfast was not upto the mark. Staff seemed uninterested and food was cold. They were in hurry to pick up plates from the table. 4. We ordered drinks by the pool which were standard drinks like Pina colada. But the taste was not even close to how it should be. We ordered during Happy hours but the bartender seemed to cut cost by giving pathetic drink. We didn’t even finish the drink 5. Cleaning of rooms - this was done as late as 5 pm when we used to return back after a full day. 6. Air conditioning in our family room towards the bunk bed was not effective at all. Kids found it hard to sleep Seems it’s an old property and no effort has been spent to upgrade the facility to latest standards. It is definitely not worth the price we paid for four nights. Disappointed with Novotel completely. Thanks Kriti
