It's closer to Unirii Square (and consequently to Old Town) than any other Mercure hotels that include Unirii Square in their names. Rooms are larger than similar rooms in other Mercure hotels in Bucharest and definitely more modern and cozy. My room, located on the first floor had a large balcony (although thew view from balcony was totally boring). The staff is super kind and friendly. The main attraction of this hotel seems to be the restaurant. Contemporary cuisine inspired from traditional and regional dishes, with hints from French and Balkan cuisine. The lamb stew with plums was unforgettable, as well as the turkey terrine. Obviously, the breakfast was lovely.
