The room was much more spacious than the average size in a Ibis Hotel. And the service at reception and the restaurant was very friendly and helpful. The pork dish with polenta was a bit burned but the hamburger the following evening was excellent.

I use this hotel every year. Our company coorganize an international sport event in Bucharest for 14 years now , in a location nearby (IDM Club IBIBO Bowling tournament) . Every year we bring international guests and we book at least 20+ rooms in nearby hotels like IBIS. This year was dissatisfied cause the first night that I slept in room 806, I was heavily bitten by an insect (bed bugs or spider or something similar) and all my face and hands was full of severe bites, can cause me trouble . Although the receptionist had been very polite , the hotel management did not do anything to help or make me feel any better.

Dear Mr. Sivissidis, I would like to personally extend our sincere apologies for the unpleasant experience you had during your recent stay with us at Hotel Ibis Bucharest Politehnica. We truly value your continued loyalty over the years, and we are very sorry that we did not meet your expectations this time. We understand how distressing it must have been to experience insect bites and discomfort during your stay. I really do not understand what happen as we are doing regular this action, please find enclosed the last action in this regards, on 23.10.2025. Please rest assured that we have immediately taken corrective actions — including a full professional disinfection and inspection of the room and surrounding areas — to ensure such an incident does not happen again. The company checked the room and confirm that it was not a bed bug, should have been something from outside, I’m waiting for their official letter as well, I can come back with this afterwards. We are grateful for your long-standing partnership and for the trust you’ve placed in us during the past years of the IBIBO Bowling Tournament. As a gesture of goodwill and appreciation for your continued collaboration, we would like to offer you a complimentary night stay with a room upgrade & a 25% discount on your next reservation. I was informed when I have seen your complain online from Trust You, I’m very disappointed it was not presented in due time to contact you earlier.
