I will start by saying that I am quite familiar with the Accor Hotels from Ibis Budget, to Mercure, Novotel, MGallery and of course Pullman. By far Pullman Bucharest is NOT a 4 star hotel and it's years away from the Pullman standards (service/staff, rooms etc). Though I used the Accor app for self check-in, pre-authorize the payment and to chose early check-in, at the reception I was instantly rushed by the receptionist saying that I arrived too early for check-in. She did not even bother to ask my name and/or check the reservation. I had to tell the receptionist that I'm already checked-in, opted for the arrive early option and I just want my key-card. Only then she checked my reservation and I was asked to wait as the room was not available (quite contrary to what Accor specifies in BOLD on their website). Everything you will find here is outdated, old and worn out,yellow walls and smelly corridors. The bathroom with the small white tiles it reminded me of the really old hospitals. There's no attention to details, there are a lot of things that really don't matter not even to management. They even hand out key cards with a typo in the name of their city: Bucarest instead of Bucharest. A bit pathetic.

Great service at the bar downstairs, Felicia can help you with your needs, good rooms and features. Old-ish business hotel but has everything tou might need, central, neat to conference halls, near Heratrau park, good for any type of business venture.

Old and outaded, yellow walls and smelly

Though I paid for early check-in and I checked-in in advance through the app (as I usually do) as soon as I arrived at the check-in desk to get my key card I was rushed by the receptionist saying that I arrived too early for check-in. The receptionist did not even bother checking the reservation/name etc. I explained that I authorized the payment with my CC and already opted for early check-in and only then she decided to verify. Secondly - the room was not ready as it states in the Accor app and I had to wait. Everything is really old, worn from furniture, bed, to bathroom tiles (broken and mouldy). This is not a 4 star hotel, it was not a 4 star experience at all. It reminded me of a very old house in the country side. I've had a better experience staying at an Ibis Budget.

I get it the hotel is trying to be "green" and reduce the carbon footprint and all that shebang but please do it next time without risking dissatisfaction from your customers. For 2 weeks, every day I asked for a toothpaste in the lobby... the staff should've at least gotten a hint that I need some when they make my room right? That's not the case. I ran out of shampoo and body wash near the end of my stay, which means they only replace it only after a guest is done with the stay. There where also no earbuds and conditioner either. The staff was 50/50. Some of them were really great (especially the lobby staff), and others (servers in the breakfast buffet) give you this "I wanna kill you stare". I mean, we're in the hospitality business, right? Shouldn't it be all smiles and hospitality? This is basic. The only thing convenient in this hotel is its location. Thank god for that.
