Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. I politely asked a member of the reception staff, Daniel, in English how long I would have to wait to be served together with my partner. Instead of responding professionally, he began muttering comments in Spanish under his breath and spoke about us in a very disrespectful manner. What he apparently did not realise was that my partner understands Spanish and could hear and understand what was being said. I find this behaviour completely unacceptable, especially from someone working at the reception of an international hotel. Regardless of how busy the reception was, guests deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. I am not complaining about having to wait — I am complaining about the way we were treated when we politely asked a simple question. This interaction left a very negative impression of the hotel and its customer service.
