Honestly, even as a budget hotel, you can at least put plastic cups in the guest room so that people can clean their teeth without having to rinse directly from the faucet. And you can at least provide showers with a decent strength - even though you are a budget hotel to provide the shower flow strength of a light dribble that you provide is really, well, cheap! The room was bare bones minimum as it was, and I can accept that for one night in a transit between flights, but to then skimp on the plastic cup and the shower flow strength, that just was annoying and reeked of - we are really saving money here, guys! Most of the staff were friendly, except for one young lady on the Front Desk who seemed to be put out every time I asked a question. So maybe some more training on how to speak to customers would be helpful for her.

We were given as accessible bathroom, even though we did not request it. The breakfast didn't look like a great value for the price. We ate at the restaurant the day of arrival and the employee looked bothered with our presence and questions. I will not be staying at this ibis again

When I made the initial reservation I SPECIFICALLY ASKED whether there was a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. I was assured there was, it ran every 20 min. or so and that it was FREE! After waiting for over 45 min. and asking other drivers of other busses that stop whether the transportation was real we ultimately took a taxi to the hotel. The charge was 22 Euros. At the hotel we were shown a schedule which indicated that the shuttle DID NOT RUN during the time of our flights arrival. As such by the time we got to the hotel, checked in, etc. our plans to venture into Madrid proper were ruined!

I chose this hotel because the website advertised that they have an airport shuttle. I waited for an hour late at night for the shuttle which never arrived. I called four times while waiting to find out when or if the shuttle was coming, but no one ever answered the phone. I finally took a taxi for 30 euros and the front desk informed me that the shuttle must be reserved in advance, but the website does not say this. When I got to my room I wanted to relax before going to sleep but discovered the TV did not work because there were no batteries in the remote. So I gave up and went to sleep.
