Room ok but need instructions on how to use air conditioning a. coffee maker. Need a light over the air con control.Dining room was in need of one extra staff to refill food a. beverages, plus plates a. cutlery. On the internet there is no mention about parking a. extra cost a. only one type of room is mentioned.It would help if the hotel phone number was given so you could ask questions. Otherwise it was value for money

Our room was very comfortable and having a balcony with a view over the river was lovely, although there were no chairs and table on the balcony - we had to move the furniture from inside the room out there so we could use the balcony in the afternoon. The bed is great, excellent pillows. But the other amenities in the room were basic and the room felt like it had been stripped back. The restaurant was completely empty in the afternoon and we couldn’t find anyone to serve us a drink when we arrived, then the next morning the restaurant was very crowded and breakfast service was slow. The location of the hotel is right near the river and we would have preferred to dine outside to enjoy the river views at the front of the hotel for breakfast but there were no tables set up outdoors (there’s an amazing big courtyard next to the restaurant but it appears they don’t use it) and instead everyone is dining in a stuffy, crowded room looking over the road at the rear of the hotel. This road noise was also very noisy in the morning as it appears to be a popular route for motorbikes and sports cars to do their drive around on weekends, we were woken up by the noise of a sports car club driving by at about 7am. Our stay was suitable for what we needed but overall the experience at the hotel was average.

Good hotel for local resident.

Good experience for overnight stay or short stays for local resident or on business with own transport etc. However car parking very limited and little or no parking available elsewhere. Not convenient for local restaurants but transport (bus) available. In house restaurant available but not a huge range of choices.

amazing stay with a Parking inconvenience
