Wonil Hotel Perth - Handwritten Collection

Wonil Perth is a boutique hotel and Accor's Handwritten Collection brand debut. The name 'Wonil' was used by First Nations Noongar and translates to 'Peppermint Tree'. The Peppermint Tree is a traditional medicinal tree that grows along the banks of the Swan River. The Wonil provides a space for guests and locals to live, work, and play in harmony through sustainable and locally sourced cuisine, multi functional spaces, and outdoor areas.

I am extremely disappointed with my stay. The noise from the outdoor gathering was unbearable, making it impossible to sleep. When I contacted the front desk, the staff only excuse was that the council allowed the noise until midnight during the public holidays. They took zero ownership of the guest experience and offered no solutions. What’s worse is that this is clearly a recurring issue they are well aware of, yet they didn't even have basic amenities like earplugs available for guests. If a hotel knows they have a noise problem, the least they can do is be prepared to assist their guests. I will not be staying here again.

Absolutely feel in love with this beautiful hotel and its peaceful surroundings. I was lucky enough to have a view of the Swan River on my balcony. Definitely be booking this hotel again if I need to stay in this area.

Very dissapointed with my stay, instruct Front Desk Staff not to clean my room for my entire stay, but Staff did not follow through and my room was still cleaned. On a good day with a good staff, I enjoy my breakfast...not too many of these days for my 5 days stay with you. How do you expect your guest to wash their face with a small sink and a long goose neck? For me, your aircon need to come with instructions...it is too complicated to operate.
