I’m delighted that you enjoyed our location opposite Kings Park and found the hotel clean and comfortable. It was also pleasing to hear that you enjoyed our restaurant and that the team was able to accommodate your request to have you and your colleague on the same floor. I appreciate your comments regarding the non-opening windows and room temperature. I also note your feedback regarding water from the shower reaching the bathroom floor. This is certainly something we need to be mindful of, particularly when it impacts a guest’s ability to reuse their towels as intended. Your 100/100 ratings for cleanliness, arrival and departure are particularly appreciated and will be shared with our team. Dear Oliver, Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. I was very disappointed to read about your experience, particularly the difficulties you encountered during check-in. Please accept my sincere apologies for the confusion surrounding your bond payment. Having a bond apparently processed twice is understandably concerning, and this should have been handled clearly and confidently by our team. I am equally concerned by your comments regarding your inability to contact Reception, both from your room and from your mobile phone. More importantly, when you raised this with our team, you should have felt that your concern was being taken seriously. I apologise that this was not your experience. I have taken your feedback seriously and will be following up on both the bond transaction and the telephone issue, as well as reviewing the service provided at Reception. On a positive note, I appreciate your 80/100 rating for cleanliness and your comment that the room was beautifully clean. I will ensure this recognition is passed on to our housekeeping team. Dear Margaret, Thank you for taking the time to complete our guest satisfaction survey and for sharing your experience with us. While I was pleased to see your excellent ratings for cleanliness, arrival, departure and Wi-Fi, and to hear that you found the bed very comfortable, I was disappointed to learn of the issue with your air conditioning. I completely understand your point that being advised maintenance could attend the following morning was of little assistance when you were checking out that day. Unfortunately, with the hotel fully booked, our team was also unable to offer you an alternative room, and I sincerely apologise for the discomfort this caused. The “clean filter” message you identified is also something that should have been attended to, and I appreciate you bringing it to our attention. I’m pleased that despite the air-conditioning issue you were still able to sleep reasonably well, but clearly your stay should have been more comfortable.
