1. Pre-registration check in form took no regard of my platinum status. It asked me questions about paid-for breakfast extra payments and upgrades in spite of my platinum membership; 2 - provided wine only after request; 3 - breakfast very ordinary and the same every day;!!! 4 the only Asian dish was congee with very few accompaniments. Budget and cost cutting and pathetic. 5 - check in deposit (not pre-authorisation holding). It has still mot been returned to my acoount and the amount was the maximum $500!!! None of the other WA hotels I stayed at in the last two weeks even took a holding deposit (Sebel and Ibis styles). In short, this hotel is a rip off, with poor recognition of ACCOR status and a deposit system that is totally out of line with WA ACCOR standards. This is not merely my grievance. See my 10/10 rating for the Sebel at Mandurah written leas than 2 weeks ago. The Novotel on Murray is budget in every sense of the word and does not deserve ACCOR status.

got to hotel at 3pm, one of our interconnecting rooms not ready. We needed to leave by 3.45 for reservations - that was really frustrating. Valet parking instructions need to be clearer - I had called ahead to ask how this works. Leave car on side of road then head into the hotel and give keys there. Room itself was quite sufficient. tried to call the front desk multiple times as I had dropped glass on the bathroom floor - no answer which was annoying (I called from my phone as there are no instructions in the room on how to contact front desk - or I couldn't find any). Overall ok stay and we would return.

Well located. Great service and comfortable stay.only down part is that the laundromart is too far away from the hotel. Perhaps the hotel may wish to consider having a laundry room as most customers are business man/women.
