But very noisy from thumping music all night. We were in room 809 facing east and that was the only real negative. Had to sleep with cotton wool in ears but otherwise hotel nice and friendly staff and well situated

The stay would have been fine if it wasn't for the evacuation alarm going off at approx 4 am and then being contacted by police as i was at the airport leaving to go over the Covid scare. However, not the hotel's fault. Evacuation feedback (as I'm a Fire Floor Warden myself): visitors did not follow evacuation plan and congregated outside hotel as there was no fire warden directing. Staff did not once communicate with visitors. As it was cold, some of us made our way back into the lobby finally in the assumption it was not a major disaster. Visitors were being flushed out by firemen as they did not evacuate. Suggested actions: Urine and filth in the last 2 levels of the stairwells needs to be cleaned regularly as several people were barefoot or in socks. There is a foldup card in room stating that if someone smokes, they would incur a cleaning charge. This looks to give permission to visitors to smoke. Cards need to be removed or replaced with ones stating that it is illegal to smoke. I do however have one complaint: having the beds on rollers means you can't sit up in bed to watch tv or read a book without the bed constantly moving away from the wall. This is VERY annoying and would actually influence my decision to return again. Otherwise, staff great, food great, and hotel well-run. :-)

We had a stay cation over the June long weekend. We were greeted by helpful staff, Checked into clean room with good amenities. It was a quiet stay despite being centrally located there wasn't alot of noise from the street below. All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The ladies on breakfast duty in the restaurant were welcoming and attentive. Great buffet breakfast options. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return

Fire alarm and COVID case

If a fire alarm and COVID case hadn’t occurred then it would be a higher score but the fire escape was littered with debris, a disgusting look that should be kept clear. It was a hazard and somebody could have had an injury falling over towels and general garbage. The night manager looked like he had just been woken up. Then a COVID scare had us checking out early when nobody could give any information

Needs care

The hotel is old and needs some care and cleaning. Shower had some mold and general carpet and lifts need updating and cleaning. As an Accor member I booked two rooms and was not informed at checkin which was my room so I didn’t get the correct room. We were evacuated from the hotel at 5am and communication from staff during and after the event was nil. Overall disappointing in our stay this time.

the reception desk was not manned - I can understand when short staffed and staff have to pop out for something but we stood there for nearly 20 minutes which I feel is unacceptable

the staff service was excellent during my one night stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived till my late check checkout, nothing was too much trouble for the staff and were very friendly. The room itself was good, bed was very comfy and all ammenities were available and met my needs. Very happy with my stay.

My last two trips I stayed at the ibis. The last stay was for three nights. The price for the room is very good value, the staff are nice and welcoming, the room are clean and comfortable, But the smell in the walkway was very bad... At the entrance of the hotel was like a homeless shelters dirty cigarettes butt and empty drinks containers. If you want to keep your country customers coming back you need to lift up your game...

The ibis might not be the biggest or fanciest in Perth but sure is big on service and friendliness. Always helpful and keeping the quests happy. Location is wonderful just so conveniently place in the city

Being from up north when we lob in the city we need something clean, cosy and affordable. Ibis Perth ticks all these and more. It is one of the best locations in the city. Close to EVERYTHING!! We have stayed in several of the Accor chain hotels around the city, and keep coming back to this one for the amazing location and homely feel. Cant wait to come back. Thanks to the friendly helpful staff as well.

Had a one night stay. Room was spotless and we got a free upgrade and a drink voucher as it was a birthday celebration. When we returned there was a card and chocolate as we were returning guests. They only down side the room was too warm and the aircon didn’t seem to work very well. Otherwise perfect.
