Room service very limited in choice. Reception service poor re check out, storage of bags etc - too busy. No one to help with luggage coming in off the street. Will not stay again if have another choice nearby.

We left are money and passports with the reception the next day we asked for the money it could not be found. We was asked where was the money placed and we said in the Safe, it took them 5 minutes to find and it and it was not in a safe place.

quality of room is poor, reception desk is untidy blinds in room are unfresh, some stain markings, slightly bend on the sides shower has no shower screen, door of bathroom is affected by moisture

I had a good stay in room 719. But first thing in the morning , each morning the cleaners start the vacuum cleaner at 7.20am. This is very early.

Everything was up to the usual friendly standard, even when i made a mess in the room and foyer with a leaking drink bottle the staff were very understanding and helpful. they also phoned to advise me they had found my phone charger in my room.

Our stay with the 'Ibis Hotel' met our overall ideals; spotless sheets, staff very polite and knowledgeable. There was an issue with flies around the breakfast fresh food counter i.e. Small goods! I do fully understand that doors are continuously opened and closed which makes it difficult. I suggest that using a cover would help? Another issue was one stained face washer. Otherwise very well located and staff very friendly. PS: A CBD Perth doctors list would also be an advantage to those that might unfortunately incur an unforeseen injury.

Biggest disappointment since we have been members

Weekend away with family.Adjacent rooms booked to help out with the grandchildren Checked into our room, turned aircon on only to have a downpour in bathroom ceiling.Couldn’t get through to reception so waited in queue downstairs. We were told that maintenance do not work on weekends, so they would try and find us another room. Our family were waiting in Rubix to order lunch. We were then told that they had run out of pizza bases and the purée for the watermelon cocktails we wanted. On return to reception, we had been given another room, 920, and unpacked. The room was so small they we had to put the chair on the bed to move around. Automatically thought that our grandson couldn’t sleep in here as the chair now had his bed! Fortunately, the fireworks restored our mood and all returned for a good nights sleep ready for our next day adventure. Fat chance of that! The noise from the generators above us didn’t allow a moment of respite. We had breakfast and left., except when we inserted our parking ticket into machine it wanted payment which we had done at reception. We were extremely lucky , usually when leaving , there is always a queue of cars lined up to leave, this time there weren’t. I left my husband to reverse back up whilst I ran back to hotel. The ticket was re stamped. So off again. Still it didn’t work, but at least this time knew that we needed to press the bottom button. The day was a right off. Cancelled plans as I was so tired. Missed the euphoric feeling that I get looking back over a weekend away

Carpets flooded on floor and into my room by another guest - no offer to relocate

No the fault of the hotel but apparently another guest passed out in there room with shower on and it flooded half of the third floor. My room had water in it past the bathroom (so a few metres in) carpets were sopping wet. Was not offered any option to change rooms etc. Spoke to concierge when I checked out they were well aware of it all.. but still was not offered to change rooms (and had booked a 5pm checkout for following day).
