I am an AccorPlus Gold Member and regularly stay at many different hotels in the Accor group. This was my first visit to Perth and I had stayed at 2 other hotels already during my trip that were absolutely fantastic. Decided to go to this hotel for the last night of my holiday and it was a huge mistake. Firstly started with minimum street signage and I accidentally did a U turn on the one-way street in order to park infront of the hotel. I had rung the night before and spoken to the manager as needed a disabled carpark space for my mother. Was told that parking was $19.99 per day. Fair enough but annoying given that parking was complimentary at the other 2 places that I'd stayed at. My loyalty as an Accorplus member was not recognised whatsoever. No welcome amenity, room upgrade, late checkout or even a bottle of water provided. I've been part of the ALL loyalty program for many years and this was the first time that there was nothing for me. I'm still yet to receive the status and loyalty points for my stay too. The manager also mocked my elderly mother who was disappointed that there wasn't a welcome card. I was totally shocked at his indignance and the way he belittled her by saying "I'll be your card, welcome, welcome". I asked him for 2 bottles of water if possible as the tap water in Perth is undrinkable. Got some story that Accor is moving away from plastics and so once their stock of bottled water runs out that there would be none available. Absolute rubbish as everywhere else has alternatives. The room itself was very clean and comfortable but that was about it. The hotel does not have a restaurant and there are no shops nearby. If you want to eat anything, it's completely self catering. There is no dishwasher or oven in the room but it did have a washing machine and dryer. An EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE night's stay for absolutely nothing. I will definitely never go back there and am now hesitant to stay at any Sebel hotels.
