I stayed two nights at this Hotel. Modern, nice facilities. What did I like and what not? - I enjoyed a hand written welcome card in my room upon arrival together with some fruits - I like to do sports. Nicely equipped and modern gym which is accessible 24 hours. There is also a nice sauna in this area but I did not find the time to use it - Rooms have been convenient. As a coffee guy - I also liked the little coffee machine with capsules to have a first coffee before breakfast. - breakfast, by the way, is very good from the quality. Fresh fruits, hot breakfast but also some coldcuts and salad, really a good mix. - overall appearance etc. also very good Two downsides I faced: - breakfast is starting 07.30 only. Even I could access a few minutes earlier for me that is too late when I am on a business trip, I am used to go for breakfast starting 06.30 normally in hotels - I am a runner and was looking for a running trail. Did not find anything on Komoot or Strava. Hotel was also not able to help. Tried by myself - and there does not seem to be a good trail in that area. I normally book hotels a bit outside of the city to have a chance to have a nice run in the woods but this did not work out at that place... Overall, otherwise very good experience.

First and foremost, greatly appreciated the efforts of the kindest receptionist Irusha and Mercure team to solve an important issue we had upon arriving at 11pm - thanks a ton! Unrelated to this, we’ve seen all the staff being so very nice and attentive throughout our stay, which helped us feel very comfortable and welcome. The hotel itself is quite lovely, nicely blending old and new, modern and traditional. With its garden and heated pool and other spa facilities (jacuzzi, sauna), it feels like an oasis on the outskirts of Bucharest, within walking distance from the Pasarea Monastery, an oasis of its own. That said, it’s also fair to say that there isn’t much else in the immediate neighborhood, so getting out means a 30’ car ride to the city. If traveling by car, by the way, the hotel has a private parking with plenty of space. The rooms are comfortable and quite well soundproofed, well stocked on amenities, and the mini-bar is complementary. Breakfast is included and offers a well varied choice of quality products, an excellent way to start the day.
