Our hotel is at right by the Simone Veil Bridge and 10 minutes from Arkéa Arena. Close to Bordeaux-Saint-Jean train station, accessible by car in 10 minutes or by tram which is a 10-minute walk away. Direct access to the hotel via the Bordeaux beltway and A62 Toulouse highway. We have 915 sq.ft. of seminar rooms. The hotel has family rooms ideal for 2 adults and 2 children under 12 years old.

The hotel is a 20 minute bus ride from the old town centre and is in an area that is quiet yet connected. There is new building work going on but this is not a problem. The staff that I encountered were very friendly and hospitable. The room was clean and well laid out with a big duvet for the double bed - which was just marvellous - rather than two single duvets so thank you for that. Breakfast had a great selection of food - mainly continental with scrambled egg being the only hot food - but that was ok and there was a grill for toast and croissants. I ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was superb. Whilst it is a little out of town, I would recommend staying here and the bridge across the road at night is a stunning view.

The hotel is well located and facilities and breakfast is good. Free car park is great if you come with a car. Everything was fine till we had a terrible interaction with the one of the receptionists. We asked for a coffee trying to explain that it could be Americano or Black Coffee without milk. The lady unreasonably dismissed us and at last said she can only give us regular coffee. And when we asked her to give us regular coffee, she started by saying that we could not say her "give" and making a scene with frenetic body language. She went on to say that we were making her uncomfortable and she is not a barista. Of course we left without getting the coffee to avoid further hassle. I have been traveling all around the world and I have never seen such frustrating behavior in a hospitality settig. I have written to the hotel manager and later to Accor customer service and haven't get a response in one week. That's why I decided to write this review. I hope they take the necessary actions and this lady could not treat other customers in a similar manner. Thanks a lot to the lovely receptionist who personally apologized when we mentioned to her when we were checking out the next day.

Solid hotel without frills: comfortable upgraded room, nice river views, good shower, good mattress and pillows, friendly and helpful staff, spacious parking, a few bus stops from downtown. Breakfast could be a little more imaginative with a few warm items but otherwise OK.
