The AC was block to 23° but in the room it was more than 26°C way too hot, I called the Reception and they said they will not lower the AC because the manager plugged it at a certain temperature which is totally terrible for this kind of hotel it made our night sweaty and unbearable on the last floor, where the room was heated up by the sun over day just under the roof. This is totally inacceptable. The mattress was so squeaking made noise every time. My partner turned over. It woke me up, kind of low quality mattress is unacceptable for a double bedroom primary surprised that they would show for our two stars sadly.

My wife and I arrived late in the evening on the train. It was great to walk a short distance and be at our hotel. The breakfast was phenomenal. We ended up booking another night a week later so we could be close to the train station for our departure.

The hotel is close to the railway station and offers great views across the river to the city. The city's free tourist shuttle bus stops just across the road giving easy access to the main sights. Ther room was clean and comfortable.

We had a lovely stay in the Mercure Bordeaux Centre Gare Atlantic. The hotel was very comfortable and fresh towels provided daily. We arrived during the morning hoping we could leave our bags, but our room was all ready for us to check in. A very pleasant surprise. The hotel was in a great location just a short walk from the tram at Gare St Jean. The room was well equipped and we were able to watch some TV in English. We were surprised that the front door was locked quite early in the evening. If this is a security issue, I understand, but I felt safe in the local area anyway. One of the receptionist was quite sullen and wouldn't say anything to us as we left and arrived during our stay. I would recommend the hotel due to it's close proximity to the metro. There were also lots of decent restaurants in the local area too.

Very helpful staff, great room, quiet, comfortable, clean - only one thing I would change: no mini fridge in the room; i do believe there used to be one as there was an empty space for it - and i was told they were only available in the suites; but by 42 degrees outside it would have been nice to have been able to have fresh drinks so that surely needs to be addressed. The location is practical but the area (as it is normally for around train stations) is filthy, and full of beggars who harass you all the time - you cant even have a drink in peace at one of the only 3 restaurants around there.

Kind staff. Breakfast rather frugal, good for two star hotel or hostel.Rarely any vegatables( tomatoes), no onion, no cuccumber, no raddish, no lettuce. No cottage cheese. Scrambled eggs madę out of ego power, no real eggs. I likę the cod water avaiable 24/24, worki a/c and good internet speed. Room was spacious and there were enough sockets.

I was sadly only able to stay one night, because of other plans, but I would definitely stay here again. The room and amenities were perfect and it's in a fantastic location for someone that wants to see a lot of Bordeaux and only has a short amount of time to do so. All the staff I spoke with were very kind and accommodating, and the restaurant was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel with very friendly and informative staff. The suite we had was well equipped with a very comfortable bed and good pillows. Breakfast was fantastic with great choices of really good quality food and drinks. A very comfortable stay and we loved the terrace that was part of the suite, meaning we could enjoy the sunshine when testing back at the hotel. Being opposite the station and tram stop meant the whole city was accessible, but most of it was also walkable. Very helpful staff and well looked after premises.
