We had a pleasant stay at Mercure. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside is no refrigerator in the room which is quite rare for a 4 stars hotel.

Quiet, clean and comfy rooms opposite tram and train station makes this hotel a preferred option for us as we ‘transit’ through Bordeaux from Australia to the Dordogne. Perfect for a one night stay, but because of the trams opposite that whisk you to the centre in minutes, also good for longer stays.

It was an easy walk across the street to the F-tram to the airport. Clean and nicely laid out rooms; mine had a small balcony that opened up to the square below. Sound proof windows made sleeping comfortable! Friendly service at the front desk and willing to speak English to assist me.
