I stay at Ibis hotels quite often and ,although I rarely expect fancy accommodation, I have always been satisfied with the level of upkeep and cleanliness. This one was a budget Ibis and the room was in disrepair and parts held together with tape. No intentions to keep up appearance with paint flaked off and shelves hanging by a thread. Our room.was number 521, so I can only hope others are in better shape. Staff was friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was good. No hairdryers in the room,so make sure you get one at the front desk with a €10 deposit!! You feel like a would be thief. I guess that is what budget means?

So close to Gare St Jean. Easy access, charming staff, not expensive. Room was somewhat small but very comfortable bed and pillows. Would definitely use again.

Hello I hope this message find you well. Our stay in Bordeaux was unfortunately incomplete because the hotel did not meet the minimum necessary and expected needs: 1) The shower was not fixed in place, preventing a proper shower. 2) The toilet leaked. 3) The heating was insufficient, considering that it was -2 degrees Celsius outside at the time, and due to the cold in the room, my wife is now congested. 4) There is no option to cancel the reservation, as I had another reservation at the same hotel for January 3rd and 4th and would certainly like to cancel it due to the previous bad experience. I am an Accor member and will not return to any hotel with the Ibis Budget brand. Thank you, Jedielson S. and Family.
