The rooms were lovely and the beds super comfy. However, the hotel appeared to be short staffed when I was there. My check in process was not informative and I was not advised about breakfast / dining options. Twice I wanted to get a coffee and both times there were no staff around to assist. Finally the breakfast although some of it was nice, the scrambled eggs were very clearly not of the ‘real’ variety which to me is not really ok. The coffee machine was also broken so I had to pay for a barista coffee. This should have been complimentary when your equipment was faulty. These aren’t big issues, but did detract from the overall experience. The location, price and friendliness from the majority of the staff were all really positive.
