Booked through the Accor All app, 2 bedroom apt, 2 adults & 2 Children, breakfast included. Received a call from Liam the duty manager the day before our check-in to ask for our preferred bedding configuration, as as far as he could see, our booking was for 2 adults so assumed we would be happy with 2 king beds. I informed him that that was incorrect, it was actually for 4 people and that if possible 1 king and 2 singles would be better. He again stated that on the hotels booking sheet it had only come through as, or was showing 2 people. He said it wasn’t a problem and the room would be set up as requested. I then said, as our booking was for 4 people, not 2 and the booking included breakfast, would there be an issue at breakfast. He said, as the booking was only for 2 people, I would need to pay for the extra breakfasts. I again confirmed, that I had, via the app booked for 4 people, breakfast included. Liam told me that if I showed reception when we arrived confirmation that our booking was for 4 people, breakfast included, then the system would be updated and breakfast wouldn’t be an issue. When I checked in just after 2pm, I showed the booking details to reception….i even left the email printout with him clearly showing my booking was for 4, including breakfast. He said it would be fixed up before the morning. I wasn’t completely surprised when we did go to breakfast the following day to be told by the lady at the bar area who asked for our booking details that we had only booked breakfast for 2 and we would have to pay for the 2 extras…… Fortunately the guy on main reception who had checked me in the day before was there and we were allowed to have our breakfast at no extra charge. When I checked out, he was good enough to apologise for the confusion, but, as I said to him, it’s just incredibly disappointing that I made a fair effort to remedy an error that wasn’t mine and nothing was done from the hotels point of view. I don’t really feel that I should have had to keep trying to prove my point, I did everything possible to have the included breakfast without issue. A couple of other points of feedback. In the room, the bathroom in particular….the light above the sink didn’t work and 3 of the 5 bottles of shampoos, body lotions, shower gels etc were empty. Also, the hallway leading from the lift to the room quite clearly hadn’t been vacuumed for a while…or even had tissues/knapkins picked up.

We were disappointed with our room which was near the lifts and quite noisy. We specifically asked for a room away from lifts. Room was dirty with grime on the stove top and mold on the bathroom tiles. Housekeeping did not change our sheets or make our bed over a 5 night stay. We had to ask for bathroom supplies to be topped up, including toilet paper! Breakfast buffet was very bland with the same food offered every day. Coffee was watery and tasteless. No gluten free pastries and toast was only available by request. Very disappointing.
