Sydneysunset TripAdvisor review

3 night stay in one bedroom apartment on 7th floor. Friendly and efficient staff member checked us in and advised that our room was ready there and then (midday). Light airy apartment with decent sized bathroom. Having a washer & dryer in our apartment much appreciated after a week at Wilson’s Prom. parking was $35pd. Hotel is ingood location Easy short walk to Southbank for dinners by the river. Easy short walk to the NGV Intl for the current Kusama exhibition and easy walk to Flinders Street Station and city centre. Hotel lifts were frequent and quick. Current balcony works had no impact on our stay at all.

Had nothing but issues with check in , 4 rooms in total with guests coming in the following day . There was little to absolutely no help as we were told too bad Assistant manager was a help . Breakfast was booked in package but wasnt added . Very poor experience , wont stay again and considering we as a group come to melbourne x3 times a year there is 4 rooms and brekky package you wont receive again

have stayed here several times before but will never stay again. Unit 1310 was completely inadequate for 4 adults, every room and bathroom was tiny, had to clamber over bed to get in, only 3 chairs at table and 1 sofa for 2 people, very close to lift which made a tremendous noise all night, hole in carpet, no stools at bench, very dilapidated. This unit should not be available in the same category as other units.. We had previously stayed in other 2 bed 2 bath units which were excellent and what we expected this time. Unable to be moved to one of the better units but were moved to a corner unit which although larger living area only had 1 bathroom with shower over bath which was not what we paid for. Housekeeping inadequate at this unit, shower facilities were empty, fresh towels provided but used towels not removed

We have never stayed here before and I’m not sure why that is. Our room was comfortable and clean. Location is great and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to. Public transport is a short walk away also. We look forward to staying here again in the not too distant future.

Stayed at the mantra as we needed to be close by to the botanical gardens for the Moomba parade. The room was very tidy, the soaps smelled amazing. We had a beautiful view of the arts centre/art gallery/and gardens. Quick few minutes walk to Southbank. Would definitely stay again.
