Overall, the Mantra South Bank was a great stay. It's in a great location, close to the bars and restaurants on South Bank and not far from the train station and a short walk to the CBD. The staff are lovely, and I found the apartment to be really spacious, great range of amenities and a comfortable place to stay. The only feedback I have is that some of the amenities could do with an update. I noticed the hinges on the laundry cupboard needed replacing which I had mentioned to the front desk upon check-out, and I am sure it has been addressed. I also found that the ironing board needs an update, it's starting to bow in the middle.

The team working in the restaurant weren't the most approachable crew that I have meet. There was no cooling in the restaurant for the first 2 days and we also had air conditioning issues in our room. These were fixed but it impacted our experience. Maybe the breakfast crew were the same.

And, while we were able to provide standing fans, I am grateful that everything is now rectified. Thank you for informing me about the room air conditioner. As they are all independent units, I will ask our onsite maintenance team to check the room unit. We will stive for a better stay experience and hope you will consider staying with us again. The room had a good floor plan and was spacious. The kitchenette was well equiped and included a good size fridge. Shower over bath is not our preference, otherwise we were very happy with the unit. The bed was very comfy. Air conditioning was a little noisy and had to be turned off overnight. City traffic noise is unavoidable in this location but was quite tolerable. The location is great, being a short walk to Southbank. We were lucky to have a nice view of the Art Spire and beyond. Parking on site was appreciated even though it is an extra cost. I would definitely consider staying here again.
