Nice room

Check-in/check-out were efficient and friendly. No problem with room at all. The only negative is the ventilation. Visit was during comfortable shoulder season and the centrally climate control system was still set on "heat" (No air conditioning). The temperature outside and inside was too warm for us to use the heating setting. And the residual "fan' setting without the thermostat set to the lowest possible temperature did not sufficiently ventilate the room. Basically there is no ventilation and the only option is to open the window and expose yourself to the noise of the major autoroute (A7) just 50 meters away. My wife woke up at midnight feeling like she was suffocating and we opened the window and accepted all the traffic noise as a lesser evil. This should not be a problem during colder or hotter periods of the year when you want to use the heating or the cooling.

A good choice not far from the funeral centre in St Genis Laval.

Good stay with a few minor flaws

Everything was alright except the following: - the restaurant was closed without prior notice upon reservation; - parkings in the parking lot are limited and thus are offered on charge (8 euro) - which is fine. Once you get to park, however, the hotel will not reserve that spot for you, even if you paid for it. So, if the restaurant of the hotel is closed (as it was the case), you cannot take the car to go look for a place to dinner, unless you are willing to take the risk of losing the parking you have paid for. This is pure nonsense!
