My stay with Novotel Lyon began on weekend, at the time of my checkin (evening 9~10pm+) which the level#2 door access via gourmet bar is locked and voice-call is not made available. As a late check-in customer following the Centre Confluence signage leading my way to level#2 only to find no reception counter nor front door access is particularly concerning to me (and no prior message/ email notification on instruction were given either). After which, i have to figured my way out to walk a big round trip to ground floor lift lobby in order to reach reception counter with two luggage. The reception counter arrangement is a disaster in my humble opinion. other than that, the room is nice, clean and big in size.

The room is absolutely beautiful, and the level of luxury goes beyond what you would typically expect from a four-star hotel. The service at reception during check-in was exceptional.
