Staff interactions were great, at reception trying to get city cards, and over 3 breakfast sessions. Executive room was small, we had sofa bed down so the 2 kids could sleep and there was hardly any space left. Bathroom was good. Location was in the new town, about 20mins by tram to Vieux Lyon. Once you get city card it's very easy to get to Vieux Lyon (1 tram, and change to train for 2 stops).

Unfortunately this hotel doesn’t fit to the regular 4* Novotel hotels. It needs improvement as it looks “used” and unappealing . When we came , there was some big event (not mentioned in allaccor platform), we couldn’t get into the parking because no one could hear the phone ringing. There was only one person at the reception, super loud music, so we hardly could communicate. The room we stayed smelled like it was previously a smoking room, there were stains on the sofas. Limited space for clothes, sockets and to get to the bathroom we had to maneuver ourselves difficult. Mentioned the event, it should end by 10pm, but there was noice up to 11 pm. The restaurant though is quite nice and food was very good with kind staff.

My top priorities for any hotel are hygiene and a comfortable bed, and this hotel failed on both fronts! Firstly, the cleanliness of the toilet was subpar, which was incredibly frustrating. If basic hygiene standards aren't met, it's hard to enjoy anything else. Secondly, the bed was uncomfortable, and the pillows were terrible. Additionally, the room design was poor, with insufficient space for unpacking. While this was the least of my concerns, it still added to the overall dissatisfaction. When I realized how much I paid, I was shocked. This hotel is of very low quality, akin to a 2-star establishment, yet it's priced like a 5-star hotel. Definitely not worth the money.
