All in all did I had a good stay at your hotel. Many thanks for the upgrade I got from the Ibis styles to the Novotel due to construction works. But, what does not worked well was the waiting time to get to new room. I stayed already 3 nights in your hotel. I asked the person at the front desk several times. First arround 10am, when a change can be possible. “In 1or 2 hours the first rooms should be ready. I will give you a note.” After 2h I asked again. Answer: “ I will let you know when the room is ready”. At 3pm I went back to the desk, nobody informed me- the room was prepared

The person at check-in was inexperienced and made my stay really bad compare to what I should have. They should be better trained. The hotel next door is getting refurbished so the relaxing pool time was a 10 min jump in the water to refresh and head back in. The rental of the pool towel was quite a shock and the front desk person trying to convinced me it is normal to go to a novotel with your own towel...

The hotel was chosen because of its location on our journey back home from Spain as well as its pool for the kids. The hotel was renovated inside (lobby, restaurant) as it seems but the appearance from the outside as well as the pool area was little welcoming. This also is true for the underground parking (only option) with several "tricks" to be applied in order to get in/out. Unfortunately there was no welcome package for the status in the room but the kids received some pen&paper give-away so they were happy! Lastly we realized that there were several bloodstaints on the bed sheets when we went to sleep. It was too late to ask for a change and we had little time for the sleepover given an early departure so we shared the remaining clean ones. Overall a surprisingly uncomfortable and not satisfying stay in a Novotel.
