The hotel itself turned out to be not great. The breakfast clearly doesn't live up to a 5-star standard; the juice is from a carton, and we waited a very long time for the coffee. One elevator is broken, and the remaining three clearly can't handle the load; you wait in line for 5–7 minutes for the elevator, and every other time, I ended up walking up the fire stairs to the 9th floor. A plus for that, by the way—good exercise! :) And the fire stairs were well-washed and air-conditioned. In the morning, water was leaking from the 10th-floor pipes to the 9th floor. We called maintenance and were left without water in our room. They fixed it quickly—well done! The gym is good—not big, but it has all the necessary equipment, and it's well-ventilated. At the end of our stay, Samantha, with her attitude, fixed everything and improved the impression of our stay. For that, I'm raising the rating to a 4.

From start to finish, our stay at Sofitel Jumeirah Beach was fantastic. We arrived very early in the morning after a long flight, and the front-of-house reception team immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable. We stayed for seven nights and can summarise our experience as follows: Location: Perfectly situated in the heart of JBR, the hotel is surrounded by excellent dining and transport options. We often enjoyed morning and evening walks around the marina, the area is vibrant and full of life. You’re truly spoiled for choice when it comes to restaurants. JBR Beach is just a short stroll across the promenade, and the hotel provides complimentary towels, umbrellas, and beach bags, a thoughtful touch. There are also third-party options for sunbeds and loungers if you prefer. Food: We chose the breakfast-only option, given the huge variety of nearby dining choices. Breakfast each day was fresh, varied, and beautifully presented, with live cooking stations. The chefs were always friendly and engaging with guests, which added to the overall experience. The quality and consistency of breakfast were excellent throughout our stay. Facilities: The gym and spa facilities were top-notch clean, well-maintained, and staffed by helpful, attentive team members. The infinity pool was a highlight, with great views and a good selection of food and drinks available poolside. Housekeeping: Housekeeping maintained very high standards; our room and the hotel areas were spotless every day. The main reception area was always immaculate, complete with beautiful fresh flower arrangements. Staff: Quite possibly some of the hardest-working and friendliest hotel staff we’ve encountered. Everyone from reception and housekeeping to baggage handlers and the front-of-house team went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Their professionalism and genuine warmth truly made our experience first-class. We had an amazing week and are already looking forward to returning in 2026

I stayed here a couple of days. Checked out and it was so amazing I had to come back for one more night. This time I’d like to thank Abdo for such great service being atentive and very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here. The staff was amazing. The view was amazing. The stay was comfortable and they make you feel so welcome. So thanks to everyone who helped. Hannington , Maneno, and Abdo salute to you all
