Am used to stay within Marina but I had never tried this particular place until a friend recommended me. It was amazing, very helpful staffs and the best facilities, The soft spoken gentleman at the Concierge Mr Paul is well informed, he really assisted us with our daily routine. Definitely I will be back.

I just want to say as a solo traveller , you can feel lonely but the staff at the hotel never made me feel like I was travelling alone. Special shout out to Hannigton, Zamzam & Maneno as well, I will never forget your kindness :-)

Location: Unfortunately this hotel is not on the beach. You have to cross the road and a promenade to get to the beach. Lifts: Take forever to come and are very slow. Rooms: Rooms classed as ‘sea-side view’ are awful. In normal terms, it is a partial slim view between 2 buildings. See attached photo. The toilet seemed very claustrophobic if you closed the door. No full length mirror, which is disappointing for most ladies. Value: expensive for what you get for your money. reception staff are all about penny pinching and not at all about customer service. It felt like they are working on commission. Staff: I cannot say enough positive things. Housekeeping: very efficient and done very well. Main restaurant: A huge thank you to Aasim, always greeted us with a lovely smile. I saw him walk around tables and seem to care about each and every guest. You are a real asset to this hotel young man. Thanks to Dhina, always serving with a smile. Last but not least, the chef Mukesh (I hope I got the name right) for taking into account my allergy and ensuring I was updated each night on every dish that contained the allergen and even making me separate dishes couple of times.

Dear TripAdvisor Support Team, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my recent stay at Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach, booked through your platform. Booking details: • Hotel: Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach • Room booked: Luxury King Room with Sea View & Pool Access • Check-in: 8th November • Check-out: 10th November Upon arrival, we were given a room on the 12th floor, which was completely different from what was advertised and promised. Issues faced: 1. Room not as booked: • The room allocated was small and had a queen-sized bed, not the Luxury King Room promised. • The washroom was extremely cramped—to the point where one could barely move comfortably. 2. Unhygienic environment: • The corridors outside the room were stinking, giving an unpleasant and unhygienic impression of the hotel. 3. Ignored requests and unprofessional behavior: • We made multiple calls to request a room change and to speak to a manager. • After several attempts, the manager finally responded and stated: “This is our setup. Even if you want to complain anywhere, go ahead.” • This attitude was completely unprofessional and unacceptable for a luxury hotel. 4. Wasted time and spoiled first day of trip: • Only after persistent arguments were we moved to another room on the 26th floor, which matched the category and size we had originally booked. • We received the correct room at 6:30 PM, meaning our entire first day was wasted dealing with this issue instead of enjoying our vacation. This experience caused us significant stress and inconvenience and felt like we were misled—effectively given a lower-category room until we insisted otherwise. We paid for a Luxury King Room but were initially offered an inferior room. Given the misrepresentation, poor hygiene, inconvenience, and loss of valuable holiday time, I am requesting a refund or compensation for the first day of the stay. I trust TripAdvisor will take this matter seriously and assist us in resolving this issue with the hotel. Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to a prompt response. Ajay Sarna 9810782829

As a returning customer, I had to write a review for the fact Sofitel JBR has managed to stay consistently good each stay - which is hard to find these days! The location is great as it is right on The Walk, and has pretty much everything you could need or want within a walking distance. The lobby gives luxury and the helpful (and smiley!) staff make for a good welcome. We had the breakfast included, which quickly became a highlight due to the quality, variety and lovely service. We also enjoyed other facilities such as the pool and the lounge area to watch a football game in, the drinks were delicious and the staff were very interactive. The room - always so fresh and clean! Very spacious with all of the amenities. Big shoutout to our wonderful housekeeper Ghana, who was very attentive and ensured we had the best possible stay! Very kind man. I would say the only let downs during this trip would be the following; one of the lifts went out for a number of days during the stay which was very inconvenient as it caused a lot of delays (up to 10 mins), additionally in the lounge the wonderful experience we had watching a football match was dimmed due to the screen itself being too pixelated. The same issue was present a year before and has gotten a lot worse which ruins some of the viewing experience ofcourse. Overall I would recommend Softel JBR, ideal for families, couples and friends!
