We were very very Disappointed with the Concierge service at the hotel
The day we were checking out we made 3 calls to the reception for the Porter service nothing was coming
I'm a 62 year old man & I had to take 2 bags with me down my son took another 2
When the Concierge personal saw us coming down with our own bags that's when they decided to help us with our bags that were with my wife,daughter & child
IT WAS VERY UPSETTING THAT A HOTEL AS FAMOUS AS YOURS HAD SERVICE LIKE THIS

Overall, our stay at Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah was comfortable and pleasant. The hotel is well located and the stay was satisfactory overall.
However, I had specifically informed the hotel in advance that my husband is hypoallergenic and requested that the room be cleaned thoroughly, with extra attention to cleanliness. Unfortunately, the room did not quite meet that expectation. There was a noticeable off smell from the carpet throughout our stay, which was disappointing given the request we had made.
I didn’t raise it during the stay as we were mostly out for an event and hardly spent time in the room. But whenever we returned, the smell was noticeable, and it did affect the overall experience.
The stay was otherwise comfortable, but considering the request made beforehand, I expected a higher standard of room cleaning and upkeep. With better attention to cleanliness, this could have been a much better experience.

One thing I didnt like is the small shops open inside the hotel facing the passage to elevators.

After all my visits to Accor hotels over the years I can’t believe the terrible service upon checking in.
When I handed my platinum Amex for payment and didn’t allow for an additional hold on the card the clerk quickly told me, I’ll have to lock your minibar. Then I was amazed that a bellmen met me at the door to the room to make sure it was locked.
Excuse me but WTF! Are you afraid I’ll slip out with a free coke?
