We stated on our booking that it was a special occasion as it was our 1st wedding anniversary and our baby’s first holiday, we did just pay for a basic room with a ‘resort’ view and when looking at the pics the resort views looked lovely so we didn’t feel the need to upgrade, we also paid over £600 a night to stay here November 2025… when we got to our room our view was horrendous. We were in a room facing a side street and underground car park with cars constantly going in and out. Rang to complain about the room that I would like to change rooms and they said the hotel was fully booked and there was nowhere to put us. We were so upset we gave it a couple of more hours and had dinner and decided we didn’t want to stay here any longer so I went back to reception and asked them to cancel our room and we would change hotels… to this they looked again on the system and said there was a room the next class up available with a pool view and they would upgrade us free of charge the room would be ready in half an hour. We went for a walknand came back an hour later by now it was 8pm at night our 4 months old baby was due to go to bed at 7pm and we were still standing around in the lobby waiting for the room the be cleaned. I had to say that we needed to just go into the room without it being propelrl cleaned so my baby could go to sleep. This is not what I expect for paying £600 a night at a hotel. Such a let down and not how we envisioned our baby’s first holiday :(

It was a really nice experience. I fell in love with the designs and interior. The service was excellent—very clean and aesthetic. The location is great for anyone seeking calm. One concern: there is no spa in the hotel, and the one at Banyan Tree is very expensive. Facilities like the sauna and jacuzzi should be free, just like in other 5-star resorts in Dubai. The breakfast was delicious. Still, the dishes we ordered from the menu need a bit of improvement
