Very disappointing stay – not worth the price We stayed at the Delano Hotel and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The only positive thing I can say is that the service staff were kind and polite, but everything else was far below expectations. We paid around €700 per night and stayed with our two children, yet we were given an extremely small room, which was really not suitable for a family. Because of the situation in the Middle East our flight was cancelled, so we asked if we could keep the room until 22:00 in the evening just to shower before leaving. The hotel said we could keep it for a “special price” of €700, which was basically the same price as the nightly rate. Honestly, that felt quite unreasonable and not very considerate given the situation. For such an expensive hotel, the amenities were very poor. The shampoo and soap were in large shared dispensers, which felt cheap and not very hygienic. There were no small individual bottles, and even basic things like toothbrushes or vanity kits were not provided. Overall, the hotel felt very overpriced with the quality of a much cheaper hotel. Sadly, based on this experience, I would not return
