Check in was fine. On arrival to our room there was a truck with trailer parked across the doorway. The rooms were clean but had no lamps for soft lighting only ceiling lights. The shower is good but it leaks of the shower head is pointing near the door. The sink above the cistern is good in theory but very noisy. Unfortunately some cups were dirty in the cupboard and breakfast wasn’t appealing to young children but it was enough to get us through, also the website says breakfast includes barista coffee but this was not offered when we attended. We went to a nearby cafe the second morning. Overall our stay was pleasant and comfortable. The kids loved the swivel arm chairs.

Handy position for our needs (a brief overnight visit) & good price.

This accommodation is a bit tired (though we noted several other motels nearby looked similar). It could do with a fresh coat of paint, some new carpet & an updated bathroom. On the plus side…we slept well, so the bed was obviously comfortable enough.

Upon approaching my motel room, the front door had a repaired hole in the door that had not been repainted on the front door of my room. The bathroom door of my room also had a repaired hole in the door which also had not been repainted. There was a very noticeable crack in the ceiling. The step into the bathroom was a trip hazard. In the bathroom above the toilet, there was a brown stain sprayed on the wall which looked like human facies. This room needs these issues resolved before letting someone else stay here.

The reception sign was not very obvious The key to my door wouldn’t open and I did everything right put the card in pull the card out turn the handle off the front door. I end up phoning reception. The TV would not work The room was so dark and dingy even with one light on the main light. I couldn’t even see where the remote control for the air-conditioner was as it was 34° on arrival and I just wanted to turn it on. I was absolutely exhausted and I had gone to my medical appointment and I had driven four hours. All I wanted to do was quickly sit down have my first meal of the day and relax and watch a show that lasted 30 minutes that I was gonna catch the last 15 minutes of Will that never happened. My dinner ended up being cold. The TV didn’t work so therefore I was unable to even watch and relax the 15 minutes that was left of the show. The lady at reception came up and she too could not work the TV. The TV system is not straightforward and I’m very technical. It’s really horrible. You should have an option of whether you just choose a normal TV station or Foxtel. It’s very nice that Foxtel is available but it’s horrible when you are just trying to find a normal TV station you have to search through about 10 to 12 other stations before you can even reach it and the reason I know this is because the lady at reception move me over to another room so to pack everything up that I had pulled out And carrying my things over to another room and this is all after driving four hours plus my medical appointment the last thing I wanted to do This was my first day and will be my last day at this stage. A very horrible experience. The lady at reception was lovely and the gentleman when I was leaving was lovely. I would never recommend this Motel to anybody at all.
