Great location and good facilities – overall a comfortable stay, but slightly overrated for the price. The room was spacious, and the swimming pool and sauna were a nice addition. The welcome snacks were also a nice touch. That said, the experience felt a bit overrated compared to what we expected. If the overall price were 15–20% lower, the stay would have felt like very good value. Things to improve: The room walls had a few visible stains, and the cotton bed linens showed some signs of wear in several places. In the shower, the cabin is not fully water-tight, so if the shower head is angled slightly wrong, a lot of water ends up flooding the bathroom. Breakfast was generally good and perfectly fine for a one-night stay. However, we were expecting something a bit more special. It would have been nice if at least part of the main dishes were prepared to order, rather than having everything served as a buffet. The service was okay, but quite standard and nothing beyond that. We were not asked about the purpose of our stay, whether we were celebrating anything, or how our overall experience was.

First we got an upgrade to the junior suite, secondly the suite was clean and all the toiletries where in place; much space and above all the mattress on the bed was really a surprise. We slept like roses.
