You have a very nice venue with great bedding and shower and lovely amenities. Your breakfast was adequate in comparison to other hotels in central Jerusalem we’ve stayed at. But we do have one major complaint. You literally need to clean up your act. While our room was clean, the patio area in the adjacent room, number 120 was a terrible sight.. Garbage had been dumped in it for what must’ve been days on end. It wasn’t pleasant to sit next to it. And we worried that animals would come and try to eat the what was left. We waited for three days while in our room to see if this was cleaned up. On our fourth day, it was finally attended to. It’s a shame that this was a problem. The hallway rugs are also not adequately vacuumed each day. You have a lot going for this hotel, especially with the construction cutting off many areas in central Jerusalem. But you really do need to fix this issue.

I tend to be very generous in my reviews of hotels and places I stay at, but this time I was genuinely surprised by how disappointing the experience was. The cleanliness was very poor — stains on the toilet and the shower, and an overall unpleasant smell. At breakfast we arrived exactly at the last minute, and the staff rushed us to hurry while one of them stood over us waiting for us to finish taking food. I had arranged a late check-out with the receptionist upon arrival, yet the next morning someone opened the room door without knocking while my friend was undressed, asking when we planned to leave. When I asked for a new robe, they knocked and spoke to me in a dismissive tone, questioning what I wanted. After coming back from the spa, still in a robe, my room key stopped working because they had locked the door assuming I was supposed to check out, despite my repeated explanations. When I approached the receptionist, Naser, he spoke to me dismissively and said, “Give me the key and let’s finish with this.” Overall, there was absolutely no value for the price I paid, and the experience was very disappointing.

We arrived to a room that was not prepared for us, not clean even after we pointed out twice and specifically showed where cleaning was required. The staff disrespected us and didn't treat us! Even after they changed our room, we found trash in the closet. The level of cleanliness was so low that we had to leave and got back home without staying for overnight. What a shame. Extremely disappointing.
