As explained to Reception, in room 1114 it was hard to get the toilet to flush; the shower head needs cleaning as the water does not flow out well; corners of the room as not clean, and cleaning of sinks and bathtub does not happen daily (i.e. I showered only and didn't take a bath because I was concerned on hygiene). The room guidance document mentions a robe, but there is no robe available. Lots of room for improvement.

Excellent staff service, but the hotel itself is not on par with other Movenpick hotels. The facilities are basic, dirty and outdated. The rooms need to be refurbished; additionally, the cleaning of my room was insufficient with dirty linens and poorly 'refreshed' after each successive night.

Room was not clean. Complain was done in the first night about the shower and the bathroom. On the 2nd night it was the same and no progress was done. Complain was done agin to the front desk.

Everything was wonderful except the constant smoke in the air. My room was a non-smoking room, as was the room next to me, yet half of the time I could smell smoke coming through the walls and suite door from the room next to me. I have a high sensitivity to smoke and it made those nights very difficult.

3 day stay. Very clean hotel room, friendly staff. Good internet with easy connection. The hotel location is good, close to many restaurants and shops. I stayed in this hotel before when it was Holiday inn. I was glad to see that the rooms are better than before. However, there is one problem that persisted and that is the frequent failure of the room access card. I think the hotel management need to seriously look into this bcoz it's very annoying to reach the room and then realize that the card is not working, and have to go down to the reception to get it fixed. This is a frequent problem that happened to me before, and during my last stay, and I know it happened to my colleagues as well.

Many technical issues

Since day one, have had technical issues, like electronic door lock not working and AC not working. Problem is that instead of fixing and apologizing, the personnel was lazy, had to call 10 times for someone to call me back , not even come to room, but to tell me that it is what it is, and the temperature cannot be reduced etc. Just pure bad service, lazy people, dirty room and sheets, pillow cover was dirty for the whole 5 days stay, as I had 4 pillows, I could use the clean one but took notice every day that the bad pillow no one bothered...would never recommend this hotel and certainly not come back
