This is our second time in this hotel. The place is well designed, the location is amazing, the breakfast is super tasty. However, the hotel has become kosher quite recently, so it affects the services especially on weekends. For us it is a big disadvantage since one of the great things about the small hotels in Tel Aviv is that they are usually aren’t kosher. It is a shame and should be considered when you book a weekend night in this hotel.

First, the hotel looks very nice, and one can see how much effort was put into making it look attractive and unique. Now, we got the Menachem suite, which was very odd and dark, so we moved to a balcony room. The room was very nice, and the bed was comfy, but there was a terrible smell of pee coming out of the shower. It was impossible to shower at night, and it got a bit better in the morning. incredibly, the body soap container was empty! There is no excuse for such a thing, which made my wife stop showering and go down to the reception in the middle of the night to get more soap. The Kosher breakfast is OK, but with only drip coffee and toat-based courses, it was disappointing. Finally, the rooftop was closed! No one mentioned this during the reservation process, and the roof was the main reason we chose Elkonin.

I have stayed with your hotel twice for extended periods this year. I will stay more often moving forward. It's been quite lovely, and most of your staff are fantastic. The rooms are well-appointed and reasonably large. The location is a 10! A few things I'd point out as areas of improvement: 1. Morning access to the steam room in the spa is quite limited. And when it's available, it's not very hot (I assume it's turned off overnight). Having earlier and later access would be amazing, but I understand the need to secure/staff the spa is a barrier. 2. The gym can be better stocked (towels, water, etc.) and kept cleaner. The yoga mats are quite dirty. 3. Evening amenities (like drinks, ice, snacks, etc.) are non-existent. That's tough when you come back after a long day and would like something simple to eat or drink.
