We enjoyed our stay at this private resort. It wasn't very crowded when we went which we valued. It was quiet, and allowed space to rest. The room was clean and spacious. The clothes line was a great addition! We thought including breakfast and dinner was a fantastic choice as it bundled in nicely with the cost of the room. The SPA was lovely and relatively peaceful as well. Rawan was incredbly friendly, polite, and helpful during our stay. The only thing we wished there would have been was a bit more early evening activity (like mini golf or bowling), as everything closed at sundown.

We arrived here on 29th December after our flight from Manchester, England with the great driver Faizal - he was so knowledgable and told us all about Jordan, we are grateful to have spoken with him, he was brilliant. As soon as we arrived to the hotel, we felt completely at home. Mohammed on reception was absolutely wonderful, despite it being around 1am when we checked in - he was so friendly and helpful. The design of the hotel is superb and I love the Jordanian influence throughout. We spent the first few days relaxing as we had a busy year back at home with our business. It was great to see our portable table lamps in the restaurant Al Saraya and we are grateful to the restaurant manager (I can't remember his name!) who served us that evening with the traditional Mansaf dish which was so delicious! Breakfast was equally as wonderful and all the staff incredible, we felt so welcomed always. Now onto the fantastic Zara spa - WOW. We had a couples massage on the first day and I had a facial the day after. It was honestly the best massage I have EVER had! Sameer is fantastic, I have never felt so relaxed and he made sure all the tension was out of my back. I could not recommend him enough!! The facial was the same - the best facial I have ever had. We loved the Dead Sea inside pool, what an interesting experience. The spa staff were wonderful throughout. We ventured down to the Dead Sea itself and we had a great experience floating - highly recommend it! The lifeguard on duty was amazing and he helped us with the mud/ getting in and out of the sea as it was rocky in parts. Upon checkout, we spoke with Rawan, she was brilliant and gave us some great advice. A fantastic stay overall - wonderful hotel, relaxing, incredible staff.

The hotel has attractive landscaping and offers nice pools, which initially create a pleasant impression. Unfortunately, the experience is let down by very poor customer service overall. The food at Al Saraya buffet, both breakfast and dinner, was among the worst I have tried in Jordan. The customer service there is virtually nonexistent—you have to chase waiters for basic requests, even when the restaurant is not busy. The lack of organization is very noticeable and significantly affects the dining experience. In addition, the gym equipment is very old and poorly maintained, making the fitness facility essentially unusable. While the property itself has potential, serious improvements in service quality, food standards, and facilities are needed to match the hotel’s appearance.

Our stay at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea unfortunately did not meet the expectations associated with the Mövenpick name. Our original room faced a construction site and a wastewater treatment facility, resulting in extremely annoying and constant noise. After we complained, we were moved to another room. While the noise level was reduced, the view remained very poor and certainly not what one would expect from a resort at the Dead Sea. The food quality was good; however, there was a serious issue with organization. Food ran out very quickly and took a long time to be replenished, which meant that not all guests were able to eat properly. Overall, the hotel has potential, but significant shortcomings in room location/views and restaurant management negatively affected our experience.
