Everything was perfect, check-in with security screening our bags and car on entry for all to be safe. The hotel room was amazing with distant seaview overlooking it's gardens. The resort is amazing and the outside area and pools are superb. Staff are very nice too anywhere we have been. The only downised are the astronomical prices in the restaurants at the hotel. One expects to have higher prices but not 4 times as much than restaurants outside the hotel. Possibly the surrounding hotels had the same price in their restaurants which is a shame.

It was good experience over all disturbed by an awful food which is has to be reviewed seriously as most of the people i met in hotel were also annoyed due to the bad food.

Our experience at movenpick dead sea was so perfect since we entered hotel we was like lobby and property we felt very welcomed from the front desk team check in process was fast and smoothly our room good place with so nice views with spotless clean amazing bathroom amenity and clean showers working well the good things was the bed was so clean sheet with so comfortable bed views from balcony was super I have my room at main building Zara rooms main dining was so nice clean and tidying well abouts pools it's so so nicely warm water and good wither housekeeping team was so so friendly and kind I recommend this hotel with my love

Spent one day and night in January I. Movenpick Dead Sea with my wife.Well located.beutifully organised hotel.Had a good dip in Dead Sea .Hotel people really helped in getting a mud covered bath.Good BF.Nothing to complain.will come back

We arrived late at night to be told that we had not paid for our stay, despite having an email from the hotel to confirm that nothing more was due. As you can appreciate after a long journey this was the last thing we needed. Breakfast was included but we didn’t find the staff too hospitable during breakfast although the breakfasts itself was good with a large choice. I am not sure if I would stay at this hotel again but use another one in this area.

Hotel was lovely, grounds were beautiful, spa was amazing. Food options were not so great (the Lebanese restaurant (the Grill?) cost two people more than $120 for a meal that was really insusbtantial, unspecial, and included only one glass of wine. Never again.

Great place, superb views. The only thing is i don’t quite understand why the beach and the sea access is not better looked after amd maintained. The other thing is some hidden jacussie which was very dirty because of birds - it should be better cleaned on a daily basis.

I had stayed the previous night at Kempinski but had to move because of a huge wedding. When I arrived to the luggage scanner, the guy forced my suitcase handle down, even though there was a luggage marker from Kempinski with a rubber band around the handle. When my luggage came out, the handle would not extend. When I checked in, I saw the guy bending my passport in half to put it in the scanner, I asked him not to bend it and he said "no problem". He thought I was concerned about scanning the passport but I was concerned about it staying in good condition long term. I asked the manager to help with the luggage handle being broken and after looking at it, he accused me of lying- that I arrived with the damage. Unbelievable. 1 night at the Movenpick caused more damage to my passport and luggage than years of travel. Further, the toilet did not flush properly, the drain in the shower did not work so I was standing in water. I had an early dinner at the bar by the pool to see the sunset and the bartender/server was the best person I encountered; the food was just ok and not satisfactory for the price. At breakfast I asked for an omelette and the guy made some invention that was half runny fried egg, half scrambled something- definitely not an omelette. Overall, I am shocked that my final bill was not much less than Kempinksi- where everything is impeccable. I would never recommend the Movenpick over Kempinksi- it's like flying business vs economy for almost the same price.

I thought the hotel grounds and rooms were very nice. What I found dissapointing was the food. Generally I found the restaurant food to be mediocre and overpriced and not up to the quality I would expect from a luxury hotel like this.

Spa experience could have been better. Facilities are impressive but I had the feeling only a small portion of them were available given the low season closure - despite we paid the full 25 JOD access.
