I arrived at 3:30 in the morning and they were still holding my room. It was clean and comfortable. I just wish it had a dresser. I was really tired of fumbling through my suitcase trying to find my things by the end of the stay. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay there. The staff was so helpful and so pleasant. It was a short walk to the Old City and very close to some great restaurants and parts of the Suk. Really enjoyed my stay.

Friendly and helpful staff. Noise from outside can be heard and was sometimes disruptive. Some staff a bit impatient and didn't wait for you to answer to their knock on the door before opening it!. Please bear in mind that guests may be preoccupied and not hear your knock in the door the first time.

Easter 2. Friends - Confirmed reviews ALL

The first impression of the hotel was given by the staff who were polite and professional. The rooms were spacious and the bed was as comfortable as a Hypnos bed. The staff who made up the rooms were generally polite but some seemed to ignore the ‘do not disturb signs on the door and let themselves in with their master key!, apart from this they also did a good job cleaning, tidying and replenishing the rooms. The location is ideal for easy access to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre by foot or tram, and other religious sites of interest e.g stages of the cross, mount Zion etc.; it is also close to Jaffa street where you have a choice of eateries and access to the tram and Ben Yehuda Street which has a variety of shops, bureau de change and various cafes. The tram also gives access to the famous fruit and veg market at the top of Jaffa street. Across and Perpendicular to Jaffa street runs King George street where you have a variety of buses. All in all I had a comfortable stay at the hotel and will recommend it.

The room was very nice, the hotel is in perfect spot of the heart of the main street to bad that there's No parking and there's no soya milk in breakfast.

Second time staying here, but the first after the pandemic. Check in was smooth but I arrived early so had to wait a little for the room. The room was well kept. Breakfast on Shabbat was too crowded to attend so I had breakfast on other days. The food selection at the breakfast was good. All the staff were helpful and wonderful! Special shout out to Johnny at breakfast room and the reception staff who helped me find a sewing kit late at night (sorry for not remembering your name!).

Good The location: 50 mt from one of the main streets and ~ 500 mt to the mall and the old city of Jerusalem. Breakfast: a good variety of cheese, bread, vegetables and also Hatem (the restaurant manager) service. Needs to be improved the room: carpet had so many stains; seems to be a bit tired bathroom: mold in the shower walls and the shower could not stand in the right place; you had to hold it all the time the restaurant: it was opened only for breakfast; I thought it could be used for dinner too the service: bar was not opened one of the days; no variety

Before Covid19 we have stayed in Ibis Hotels in Europe and South America and were always satisfied with the location, the service, the rooms and the food. After a year and a half of self-isolating, we finally decided to take a short vacation in our own country and Ibis Jerusalem was the obvious choice since we know the Ibis chain and knew what to expect. Or at least we thought so. We were very disappointed for the following reasons: We arrived at the hotel on Thursday October 21, shortly after 3pm. There were two employees present at the front desk, both working on their computers, none of them acknowledging our arrival even after I said “hello”. This pattern of behavior continued throughout our stay. Their computer work came before greeting guests. I inquired about parking space and was informed that there was no parking at the hotel and the closest public parking lot was a 10 minute walk from the hotel. So we left our luggage and went to park the car. I understand that there was no option to build a parking lot but when the cost of the parking turned out to be more than 20% of the room rate! We spent 420 NIS on parking. I strongly believe this should have been brought to my attention when making a reservation. The guests of a Red Ibis hotel are usually not backpackers, and come with a car. Had I known beforehand I could have chosen to come by public transportation. I also asked at the front desk if there was a Friday (Shabbat) dinner available at the hotel and the answer was that there was no such option. Please notice that we are talking about the Center of Jerusalem and on Friday evening all closes. Later on, I accidentally discovered there was a Shabbat Dinner at the hotel but there were no more places available. After the first night I asked If there was a possibility for a flat pillow since the ones in the room were very soft and high and wrapped around my head. The answer I received is that there was no other kind of pillow. We also complained about the noise of the refrigerator in the room (we had to switch it of at night), but nothing was done about this and no apology either. Furthermore, we found it really disturbing that part of the hotel staff was without masks, both in the dining room and other -public- spaces. In short, although the location is perfect and the rooms are adequate and clean, the staff is not very welcoming to say the least, and the lack of affordable parking makes staying at the Ibis Jerusalem City Center not verr

didn't provive any early check-in or late check-out. no parking slotes for an invalid near to the hotel. the shower was not in good shape for taking a shower they provided welcome drink card, but didn't facilated the possibility to use it.

Zahava and Avik... A TripAdvisor review

I'm a member since 2008. We like to be guests of Accor hotels and we use mostly Ibis hotels. Usually the services are very good. The stuff is always efficient and polite. Breakfast is very good and the location of this hotel is excellent. The room was very good but we were astonished to find on our bed a completely torn pillowcase. The bed mattress was not comfortable and it was hard to sleep. The towels were of bad quality or old. It was not the high standards of Ibis Jerusalem center hotel we were used to. The most disappointing matter is the loyalty membership. Accor sends mails offering deals like earning the points X3 per stay but they don't keep their promises. When you contact customer care to solve a problem it takes a very long time to get an answer if ay all. It is improper and not polite. I write all this not to attack but to try help to improve.

Ibis Jerusalem is well located being within walking distance of major sites of Old Jerusalem. It is also handy for the light rail that takes you the Yad Vashem museum in one direction and Old Jerusalem in the other. I'd like to commend Naama on reception who was very helpful rived nd needed to sort out a problem with my bank. Sadly the same cannot be said for most of the rest of the staff especially in the bar where they had a problem accepting cash payment for drinks I had to insist on making payment rather than their preferred option of charging my room for their convenience.
