Had booked 4 nights - non reimbursable Had to cancel 2 nights because of meetings being cancelled (due to Corona). Have spent 20 minutes on the phone to get the advice to send a mail. Received an answer that of course I can cancel nights but will not be reimbursed. At the hotel ; had several talks with the receptionist and would get an answer. At checkout still no answer - I should write a mail. I did write a mail. No answer yet. I mentioned I would be happy with a partial reimbursement; also in form of a reduction on a future booking. Don' feel well treated as a former platinum / now gold customer ... (couldn't maintain platinum since many hotels don't honour stays when booked through egencia ...)

The hotel, its locations, the room, were all great. While the staff was nice, they seemed overwhelmed at times. It was disappointing that the staff was unable to offer advice/help with even the most basic questions concerning where to go and how to get around Paris.

We have never felt we were welcome since being one of accor membership at first. We have got only a drink for welcome drink since we became a member. This was an awful experience when they expressed unkind faces when they explained about welcome drink. We used to get two drinks even if the accor website tells we deserve to get a drink for a card holder in France. We were very proud of getting one of diamond members this year. Now that I am very very disappointed from Mercure Paris Gare Montparnass.

I was a little bit disappointed, there was only 1 elevator working, and long wait for the other one to arrive. Front desk very helpful. Breakfast was so much better before. I stay in this hotel since 1995, and I miss the old glamour, this hotel once had. Bed was comfortable. Room with bathtub. I prefer shower.

A very comfortable overnight stay

We stayed overnight before catching a train at Gare Montparnasse. We did not use many of the facilities but the staff were very friendly and helpful at night and in the morning. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas and looked much less boring and corporate than I had expected. The teenagers also liked the decor. The area seems very pleasant and it was only a short walk to the station in the morning

This hotel was good. The place was night. The room was just the right size. Unlimited treats an small drinks. The best part of this place is the location. very close to the metro and subway. Easy access to metro going to Versailles. And very close to Le Direct Bus Montparnasse Ligne 4 airport shuttle station. We really loved this hotel. Looking to go back soon!!!
