We fully understand your disappointment regarding the restaurant. However, as is the case with many hotels in Paris, August is a particularly quiet period for in-house restaurant activity due to the holiday season. As our restaurant has very limited demand during this month, it is unfortunately closed for a short period. We are sorry if this was not what you expected during your stay. That said, our hotel is located in a lively area, and there are several restaurants on the street and in the immediate surroundings that remain open until late in the evening, offering our guests a wide choice of dining options. Regarding the breakfast service, we would also like to clarify that, for hygiene and food safety reasons, our hot buffet items, including eggs and bacon, are not normally delivered to guest rooms. Guests may, however, collect these items directly from the buffet if they wish. The situation you witnessed was an exceptional case: the guest concerned was unwell and unable to come downstairs, so our team made an exception and brought the hot items to the room. We are sorry that these aspects affected your overall impression of the hotel. The room itself is nice, clean, and quiet, and the location is very convenient, with everything you need nearby. However, the service was disappointing. We stayed at the hotel in August, during the holiday season, and were surprised to find that the kitchen was closed. This is the first time I have experienced this at a hotel during such a busy holiday period. Another disappointing point was the in-room breakfast service. We were told that eggs and bacon could not be delivered to the room for “hygiene reasons.” Instead, I was asked to go downstairs to collect the eggs and bacon myself, while a member of the hotel staff carried the rest of the breakfast to the room. This simply does not make sense from a guest’s perspective. Unfortunately, these kinds of details negatively impact the overall experience and, in my opinion, do not reflect the level of service expected from a four-star hotel.

Breakfast was fantastic, and the location was great. However, the management could have handled the situation better. A small gesture of goodwill or at least an apology for the fire alarm that forced us to evacuate the hotel after midnight would have been appreciated.

It was a pleasant stay, with a good breakfast and good service. Areas for improvement: the sofa bed mattress wasn't very comfortable, and the springs were quite noisy

I stayed for just two nights and enjoyed both the location and the comfort of my room. Very modern, clean and staffed by nice folks. It seemed a bit expensive but probably inline with other hotels in the city center.

Well located hotel with helpful staff. During high temperatures water machines and big bottles were provided and you could easily leave baggage until late afternoon on last day. Very happy with my stay.

The location was the best part. Also starting with a sweet treat was nice. I had a small instance with a housekeeping team as a guy came into the room without knocking. He told sorry and immediately left but I was confused whether he was part of the team. Later I asked the receptionist and confirmed; at least that was a relief. The pillows were not as comfortable and I didn’t have similar experience in the other Mercure hotels. A toilet brush would be good. Other than those, I was content.
