Good choice for base in Budapest, rooms are simple but comfortable and clean. Hotel is offering garage for extra fee. Service in Sky bar is terrible. Avoid that place

Everything was perfect, except the drilling/construction sounds starting at 7:30-8:00 on the 1st and 2nd of May.

We had late checkout at 13pm, however the cleaning lady knocked and wanted to came in, if i didn’t open the door to say that we have late checkout. This is not working like this as a normal procedure. Since once the hotel or the reception staff know there is a late checkout guest/room, then they should tell the other staff (e.g. the cleaning staffs) in order to avoid getting into the room and the guest was sleeping in the bed.

Unfortunately, there were no walkable restaurants in the area

Lovely decorated hotel with a nice green courtyard in the middle, good atmosphere, friendly staff... the only thing that bothered me was that I couldn't open the windows, but I understand why they are designed that way.
