Another good stay

We spent another night at this Tribe hotel, but this time in a different room on the 8th floor. Overall, we were satisfied with the room. There was quite a bit of dust in some areas though. So, room cleaning could be improved. We enjoyed some Hungarian beer at the bar and the bartender working there was polite and friendly unlike the previous time. Check in was fast and easy although nobody working at the reception greeted us when we were checking out. There were 3 or 4 employees at the reception and none of them said anything as we were leaving the hotel. That's rather impolite.

Second time, much better experience

This was our second stay at this Tribe hotel, and it was a much better experience than the first time. The receptionist who checked us in was polite and welcoming. Our room on the 7th floor was clean, and a small snack and greeting card awaited us in the room. That was a nice gesture from the hotel management. However, the carpet in one corner was very wet. While not a major issue, I reported it to the reception. They offered us another room, which we declined as it wasn't a significant problem. Nevertheless, it was appreciated that they were willing to accommodate us. While enjoying some wine at the bar, we noticed several potential customers approach the bar, wait, and then walk away because the bartender was simply not present. This was a missed opportunity to sell drinks and also indicated that the bartender was attending to other matters instead of being at the bar. There was also a very strange, sewage-like smell emanating from the bar area from time to time. Despite these minor issues, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would book it again if we need to stay in the area.

Dear Management, I regret to report that our recent stay at The Tribe Hotel fell significantly short of expectations, with several service issues requiring immediate attention. Upon our arrival at 21:00, we encountered our first challenge when attempting to dine at the hotel restaurant. Despite being shown a full menu at the bar, we were presented with a significantly reduced menu once seated. This was particularly problematic given the hotel's isolated location and limited dining alternatives. Additional complications arose when the front desk was unable to process room charges for our dinner due to technical issues with account activation. As a result, I was unable to charge the dinner to my room and, importantly, could not link the dining expense to my loyalty card for points accrual. I would appreciate if this could be rectified retrospectively to ensure I receive the appropriate loyalty points for this expenditure. Subsequently, in our room, we discovered empty shower gel dispensers and previously used coffee capsules, necessitating calls to reception for replacements. The breakfast service the following morning was particularly concerning. We observed multiple staff members consuming food from the buffet alongside guests and monopolizing the coffee machines, taking multiple cups to the kitchen. The open-kitchen concept unfortunately made visible the unprofessional conduct of some kitchen staff who were eating during service hours. As this marks our second stay in 13 months, it's disappointing to note that the customer service standards have not improved. While the hotel's physical facilities are impressive, the staff training and service protocols require substantial enhancement. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss these matters with the General Manager to address both compensation and preventive measures for future guests. The property has immense potential, but these service issues significantly impact the guest experience.
