Okay, but staff in restaurant appeared unwelcoming. I mean I had to wait at the desk where it says wait to be seated, while they chatted and took there time. I then had to walk up and ask if I could have a table and they said anywhere. Then the grilled vegetables tasted burnt and bitter. I was expecting good fresh grilled vegetables.

Dear Ms. Murro, I am writing to you regarding a disappointing experience during my current stay at TRIBE Milano Malpensa. I am a frequent guest of Accor hotels and hold Platinum status with ALL – Accor Live Limitless. I regularly choose Accor properties precisely because I have come to expect a certain standard of service and reliability from the group. Unfortunately, on this trip I forgot to pack my toothbrush. We returned to the hotel from Milan at approximately 11:45 p.m., at which point I realised this. In my experience, a dental kit is a basic amenity readily available in a four-star hotel. There was none in the room, so I went down to reception to request one. I was informed that they had temporarily run out, but I was specifically told not to worry, to return to my room, and that one would be sent up to me. I therefore went back to my room and waited. After approximately 20 minutes, nothing had arrived and I had received no further information. I went back down to reception, where I was then told, with apologies, that the dental kits were in fact unavailable and that nobody from the relevant service was answering the phone. There are several issues with this situation. Firstly, I find it difficult to understand how a four-star hotel can completely run out of such a basic guest amenity. Furthermore, if these items are kept in storage, I would expect there to be some procedure allowing the reception team to access them when the responsible staff member is no longer available. More importantly, however, I find the way the situation was handled particularly disappointing. I was explicitly told to return to my room and wait because the matter would be taken care of. I therefore waited unnecessarily late at night. If the request could not be fulfilled, I would have expected someone to contact me or come to my room and let me know, rather than simply leave me waiting with no information. The lack of a dental kit itself is inconvenient; being given an assurance and then left waiting unnecessarily around midnight is, in my view, a service failure that should not occur at a four-star Accor property. As a loyal Accor guest and Platinum member, I would therefore appreciate your comments on how this situation was handled, and I would also be interested to know what form of compensation you would consider appropriate for the inconvenience caused. Attentive service at check-in. Very comfortable room. Functional shared spaces to use. Was unhappy that all free car parking spaces were gone after I went for petrol and had to park in an adjacent space and pay 10 euro.
