When we arrived at this beyond quirky Barbie themed hotel we were very disappointed to be asked for an 100€ deposit against room damage, a request that has never occurred before. Our room when we entered was cold and smelt slightly damp, the shower room floor was sticky underfoot. There was no hot water until later in the evening and compared to the apparently freshly painted corridor our room was very disappointing and in need of a massive refresh. We use Accor on our regular visits to France but will avoid the Greet Hotels in future despite the staff being friendly.

The security deposit is part of our procedure, but we fully understand that it may have come as a surprise to you and we regret if the information was not clear enough beforehand. Regarding the room, the inconveniences you describe (temperature, odor, shower room, and hot water) do not reflect the level of quality we aim to provide, and we extend our sincere apologies. During a future stay, please do not hesitate to contact reception at the first sign of discomfort : we would have been happy to offer a room change to immediately improve your experience. Surprised and taken aback when we first arrived as we hadn’t appreciated that it was a 70’s themed hotel when we booked. The more we saw of it and got used to the theme the more we relaxed into it. It was busy as it is very convenient for Pont du Gard and has plenty of parking spaces. Friendly and helpful staff, restricted menu but it was a Sunday evening. The bedroom was very, very small with hanging rails and no shelving. My husband kept hitting his head on the clothes hangers so we had to take them down. The bathroom was an unconventional shape however it was functional and contained all that was necessary. Overall we thought it reasonable value and it gave us something to talk about.

Personnel très gentil et très à l'écoute,chambre très propre, déco super, année 70 plein de couleurs partout, à voir cela change des hôtels classiques, j' ai mis 8 comme note pour le bruit dans les couloirs car pas très insonorisé et clients qui croient qui sont seuls mais sinon séjour parfait et ça vaut le coup d oeil 😀
