The hotel is excellently located next to the Palais des Papes and offers a 20% discount for parking at the Palais des Papes car park (there's no on-site parking). The rooms and communal areas are very dated and in desperate need of a refurb. Our family room was a reasonable size but the separate toilet was tiny and the shower room not much bigger. Due to city regulations, there's no air-conditioning during Spring which is not helpful. Other than the excellent location and friendly staff, there's not much else to recommend about this hotel.

Wonderful location, right next to Palais des Papes. I splurged for the terrace room and did not regret it. The room itself was fine. However, I did have trouble working the AC, but I was able to remedy it by opening a window. It was nice to see people make their way in and out of the Palais des Papes. The breakfast buffet offered a continental selections with breads, scrambled eggs, and bacon/sausages. There were many restaurants nearby, and even a movie theater. The nearest grocery store is a 10-minute way from the hotel. I bought some water and soda and placed it on the mini-fridge in my room. The concierge was very attentive and gave me a map of the city as part of the welcome and some authentic French restaurant recommendations.
