Comfortable hotel on a back alley near the famous half bridge. Has a restaurant with a bit of an abbreviated menu. Includes patio seating. Room kind of small. I had an alley view. Windows do open for outside air. Small fridge included. High-sided step into shower/bath. Bed a bit lumpy. Near several small shops. 5 minute walk to the Pope's Palace.

Good location near conference at Palais des Papes. First room assigned was unacceptable - bars over the windows on ground level - reception provided new room on upper floor. Room was OK, carpet stained and old, furnishings worn down, refrigerator shared outlet with bedside table. Hotel is in need of renovation for a four star property

I had a great time. The location was fantastic, the staff helpful, the breakfast great. I forgot a souvenir poster I bought at a winery in my room which is disappointing but that’s my own fault. Would absolutely stay again if I return to Avignon.

Mercure Pont d’Avignon Centre is in a good location to visit the main attractions of Avignon by walking. Right near the bridge [Pont Saint-Bénezet] and the Palace of the Popes. Lovely restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating that served good meals. Staff were helpful and friendly. Parking right beneath the hotel if driving. Room and bed were comfortable.

We asked for a nice view and got one.

Location is excellent for the Palais des Papes & the Pont but the carpets & the corridor paintwork felt dark if they could do with an update. Despite there being soya milk available for breakfast on the first morning none was there on the second and the staff could not explain why not or offer any substitution.
