We had a very nice stay at the Novotel in Avignon. It is very clean, the accommodations were very nice and met all my expectations. The location is great- an easy walk into the old town. There are plenty of restaurants outside the hotel within a 10 min walk. There is parking!

The location is great, staff are wonderful. Parking is well priced as is the charging availability. There's was no ironing board or steamer. Mattress are solid as concrete which I find very uncomfortable, the option for a softer foam topper would be excellent. Breakfast was not great, no hot options were refilled at all! Scrambled eggs was awful. Fried egg plate never cleaned by staff and egg boiler lacked a basic sign for how many minutes to cook for. Limited bread options for toast. Large sweet selection but limited savoury food and many people are not sweet breakfast people.
Overall the stay was good, add the mattress topper offering would elevate it' to excellent.

The hotel was just right for what we needed for our stay in Avignon. Incredibly convenient for rail and bus stations and easy walk into Avignon centre. Breakfasts offered great choice and were very good value. Bedroom was well maintained during our stay.

The hotel was just right for what we needed for our stay in Avignon. Incredibly convenient for rail and bus stations and easy walk into Avignon centre. Breakfasts offered great choice and were very good value. Bedroom was well maintained during our stay.

Nicely presented hotel, very focused on business conferences and coach parties. Nice pool at the hotel, unfortunately all the people on business meetings seem to gather around the pool smoking, so not somewhere you want to relax.

Always a good stay but the rooms were HOT . The temperature gauge says 20 degrees but I think it was not working . A four star hotel should have better air. conditioning .

Super comfy beds, hotel located close to the city centre. Perfect place. Only thing they should do is mention the depth of the swimming pool or have a life guard deployed there to prevent any incidents. I can't swim well & realized it was a very deep pool (2m+) and quickly got out. Otherwise the stay was fantastic and felt so relaxed.

Well located just outside of city walls and very close to train station. Lovely clean and quiet hotel with friendly staff. Fab pool area and never a problem getting a sun bed. Great choice for breakfast and would recommend this hotel for a visit to Avignon.

We stayed for 2 nights and found the hotel clean, modern and very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, as were the staff. The pool was perfect for a dip and the pool bar staff were very accommodating.

We were satisfied with our stay. The reception and restaurant staff were extremely welcoming, and everyone was friendly despite our stay being a few days after the Avignon festival. Thus, the room was not in the best condition as I would have expected, but after requesting the housekeeping personnel to vacuum clean the room directly, our stay became more comfortable. The faucet pipe also stank of sewage for the first two days, but this was also taken care of without request, which was greatly appreciated. We also had problems with the TV (electronic failure) on our first evening. This was promptly solved by turning off the fuse in the room. The personnel at the reception and another person who personally dealt with the issue promptly reacted, so we didn't have any problems after that.

The room did not meet our expectations. The air conditioning was not working, making the room extremely hot and the night very uncomfortable. The staff were helpful and provided two fans, which we appreciated, but this only partially solved the issue.
There was also an unpleasant smell in the room, the sink was clogged, and the bed was very squeaky.
Overall, too many issues for a comfortable hotel stay

the ctrip website said the room has a bed, sofa bed and pull down bed, which is a little bit confusing without proper pictures. I would highly recommend hotel to put more exact pictures of each room on the booking website. As i notice room is usually same size. I appreciate that they make the sofa bed for us before our arrival.

It was very nice to stay here, the room was great with a very nice bed and nice pillows. The staff is super kind and helpful. We had unfortunately a very ugly and deteriorated bathtub with hair sticking to it and the breakfast experience was just terrible

Comfortable stay in an Executive Suite during Festival Time. Rates for the rooms were high for the offering. Air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool during the heatwave. Pool provided a cooling respite. Staff generally very helpful.
