We stayed here for on night (Saturday). Our executive room was a good size and spotless. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was ok and included gluten free cereal and bread. (If you’re celiac, please note that the bread was not individually wrapped; just naked slices on a plate and in the same section as the wheat breads so there might possibly be cross contamination). Location of the hotel is perfect - an easy walk to places of interest. Also, being on the main road and outside the walls of avignon, makes it easy if arriving by car. Parking is underneath the hotel which is a bonus. Train station a few minutes walk. We had cocktails, main meals and dessert at the hotel restaurant and everything was superb. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. It very soon became clear that generally staff were geared towards dealing with very short term business travellers and conference attendees, not holidaying couples such as ourselves. There was a general lack of warmth and engagement from staff, who seemed to have a lot of time to spend simply standing around talking to each other rather than making themselves useful. For example at breakfast every day no attempt was made to clear used dishes from our table as our meal progressed, leading to an accumulation of used dirty dishes at our table. In our experience well run hotels have staff who do this as a matter of course. On a number of occasions, when making simple requests, for example, such as for a small jug of milk at reception upon checking in, we were told you'll need to ask the restaurant, I'm just reception. There was generally an attitude of I'm only here to do a specific task and you'll have to find out for yourself how to have your request satisfied. The manner of the the staff made us feel at times like we were sitting or standing in their staff lunch room, as there were often more staff than customers, all standing around and chatting in the guest bar and dining areas. .This made for an uncomfortable experience. We observed a reception staff member eating in the bar area being visibly and audibly annoyed at having to answer the phone because no one else was in attendance at reception at that time. This happened on three occasions in the 30 minutes we were sitting nearby having a drink. The bar area has an unwelcoming ambience with minimal comfortable seating for lingering over drinks and so we didn't stay there for very long. On one night there was nowhere to comfortably sit in the bar area because of a business function which had taken over the minimal amount of seating adjacent to the bar. We found the overall experience less than welcoming, something that has never happened to us before when staying in Accor hotels and as such we would not stay at this hotel again or recommend it to our friends.

friendly helpful staff, pleasant clean room, but the dinner was not so good. Their beef steak was probably the worst I have ever eaten
