A nice stay with excellent staff and good food. Only complaints were that the aircon was pretty unresponsive so the room was too warm, and there is no charging for PHEV vehicles - only high speed for full EVs which is disappointing as there previously used to be.

When I first arrived I was warmly greeted. The staff explained the hotel amenities and schedule. The room was very comfortable and quiet and the restaurant was fabulous. I will definitely stay there again if my travels have me in the area.

The Room and overall hotel smelled badly. The hotel is located farm from center, next to a highway. The breakfast was nice and with great variety.

I spend two nights and discover the second evening that my room has not been cleaned. I asked at reception and they told me that their policy is not to make the room unless the guest asks expressly for it. I said that I have not been informed about this at check-in and I was answered that the information is available on the elevator (that I normally do not use) and in the room. I checked and discovered that in the elevator that is a notice only in French language that says as the person at reception told me. On the other hand, in the room I found a slip, written both in French and English, that says that if I (myself) do not want the room to be cleaned, I should hang such slip outside the door before 8am, thing that obviously I did not do... This is ridiculous! This message should serve as a formal complaint towards this Ibis Styles hotel in Albertville for the incorrect way of handling this matter. By the way, if I was properly informed I would have chosen to skip the cleaning because I agree on this type of initiatives. Obviously I have pictures of both the notice in the elevator and the slip in the room. Thanks

Easy location with secure parking. Room Ok. Pity restaurant shut but Warren pointed us an easy route to restaurants 10 minutes away by car. Breakfast Ok other than the coffee - seems these machines do not make good coffee.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Your staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very comfortable, and the breakfast was really excellent. Our only concern was with the maintenance. In our room (403), one of the black coat hooks had fallen off, and - more worrying - the whole hanging shelf unit fell down on to my wife as soon as she tried to hang a jacket on it! In both cases, there was clear evidence that some rather haphazard repairs had already been attempted, but this had proved unsatisfactory. When we reported the problem, nothing was done and no solution or compensation was offered. It would be a shame if the quality of the hotel were undermined as a result of shoddy maintenance.
