Having staying at 5 hotels in the past 30 days, this hotel looked very tired and in need of a upgrade. I had to ask if I was at the right location as it did not look like a 4 star hotel. The carpets in the rooms felt old and dirty and the beds/pillows need reviewing too. The rooms were overpriced and while I understand that this may be due to "Dynamic Pricing", were not worth what I paid, over €1,000 for three nights, ridiculous. I paid less to stay at a 5 Star hotel in Paris earlier in November.

Dear Adrian P., Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent stay with us. We appreciate your comments and take them seriously as they help us improve our services. I regret to learn that your experience did not meet your expectations, particularly concerning the condition of the hotel and the perceived value for the price paid. Our team continuously reviews guest experiences and feedback, and we understand the importance of maintaining a high standard for our accommodations. We are actively working on enhancing the overall guest experience. Your insights regarding the carpets and bedding will be taken into consideration as we plan for future improvements. We strive to offer a memorable stay to all our guests, and it is clear we fell short in your case. Thank you once again for your valuable feedback. Best regards, Mercure Paris Montparnasse Pasteur

Last leg of our holiday. The staff is quite friendly and the location of the hotel is great. I found the rooms rather dark with the dim lighting in the room and dark wall colors.

Dear Sarah J., Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay. We appreciate your kind words about our staff and location. We acknowledge your concerns regarding the room lighting and decor and take guest comfort seriously. Your comments will be considered as we strive to enhance our guest experience. Best regards, Mercure Paris Montparnasse Pasteur

The location is not good, but for the price that my company paid it was OK. The problem was the state of room - it was very small, no heating in the bathroom, and the water holes in the shower (aimed to save water) were exaggeratedly small and the shower was annoying. It was very very very basic. Then the doors required pulling in order to open even when I had the key, causing me to go up and down - just fix them, it's not that complicated.

Amenities at the bare minimum under pretext of protecting the planet: no bottle of water, very old towel (even got one with a bloodstain), no slippers. Only one lift for a seven story hotel, it is packed during peak hours. No room service. Limited breakfast options, same thing every day

Dear Christian B. C., Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent stay. We regret to learn that your experience did not meet your expectations, particularly concerning the amenities and breakfast options. Our hotel strives to balance environmental consciousness with guest comfort. We appreciate your comments about the lift and room service, which will be reviewed for future enhancements. Your insights are invaluable, and we hope to provide a more satisfactory stay in the future. Best regards, Alexis Mercure Paris Montparnasse Pasteur

Nice but not great. I had chosen this mercure for the reviews qnd the quality mercure. Room was fine, quiet and confortable. Large sofa bed but curvy in the middle. Nice view on the Eiffel Tower. Breakfast was ok but i was used to better. Pastries were not good, small room.

Dear Beatrice O., Thank you for sharing your experience regarding your recent stay with us. We are pleased to hear that you found the room comfortable and enjoyed the view of the Eiffel Tower. However, we regret that the breakfast did not meet your expectations and appreciate your feedback on the pastries.
