Clean, tidy and organised room. Perfect location as just across Skybus station. Though, the door bangs and so it's a bit disrupting in the morning from all the banging from other rooms. Also, would prefer to have dental kits provided by default.

Generally my experience was good. However it was not the usual welcoming Accor standard that I am used to. I am a Gold and Accor Plus member and usually the staff are well knowledgable on me as I arrive, I did also add an arrival time. Maybe it was staff learning but I was not acknowledged as a member, my free drink option was not offered. When I enquired about a breakfast voucher I had, I was met with the answer of I am not sure you will need to check with the restaurant. I also did not receive the usual room upgrade or higher floor option. I did receive a chocolate in my room, which was much appreciated. I just didn't feel the welcome or service when I arrived or interacted with the staff during my visit. Having said that when I did check regarding my breakfast voucher, the lady at the restaurant was most helpful as the code part was not working. She worked to try and solve it for me with minimal fuss. I opted to not have my room cleaned while staying, that was a good option and great environmentally. I did notice that the cleanliness of some of the plates at breakfast was not to standard (I had to go through a couple, and my plate in the end had food still on the bottom of it). The location was excellent and close to Spencer St Station which was my reason for choosing it. I was also recommended to stay for Chocolate Hour which was good but a little underwhelming from what had been described to me. The small plates to access the goodies had run out and not replaced with over half an hour to go. A lovely offering, thank you but do have plates to access the treats. I have stayed at many Accor properties and have always encountered excellent service and a warm welcome. Unfortunately not on this trip and I am not sure why.

However, we are deeply concerned and sincerely apologize that your experience did not meet the usual welcoming Accor standard you are accustomed to as a valued ALL Accor loyalty programme member with Gold status. It is extremely disappointing to learn that you were not acknowledged as a member, were not offered your free drink option, and did not receive the usual room upgrade or higher floor option. This falls far short of the recognition and benefits our loyal members deserve. We regret that you did not feel the warmth and service you expect during your arrival and interactions with our staff. We are particularly troubled by the lack of knowledge regarding your breakfast voucher inquiry and the issue of running out of small plates during Chocolate Hour. We are, however, grateful that the lady at the restaurant was eventually able to assist you with the breakfast voucher with minimal fuss. We will be using your specific feedback to conduct immediate retraining for our front desk and food and beverage teams to ensure comprehensive knowledge of loyalty benefits, efficient handling of guest queries, and proactive management of amenities during services like Chocolate Hour. We also note your observation regarding the cleanliness of some breakfast plates. This is unacceptable, and we are addressing this directly with our kitchen and dishwashing teams to ensure our hygiene standards are consistently met. We appreciate your positive comment about opting out of room cleaning as a sustainable option. We understand that this experience was not what you have come to expect from Accor properties, and we deeply regret that we failed to provide you with the exceptional welcome and service on this occasion.
