I was located on first floor and complained about a noise from outside street work and I was offered an ear plug!!!! Upon insisting then only offered a room with single bed on 6th floor! Sure for a big tower during weekdays and winter in Melb room availability is not an issue!!!

I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at the movenpick. I stay there once a month for work and a minimum of 2 nights. In my last stay I was put on the 4th floor facing the street and directly over street construction that was running from 9pm to 3am each night. The construction was so loud it was impossible to sleep during these hours. Appreciate Movenpick can’t stop the construction, however I’m disappointed patrons werent put on the other side of the building knowing there would be noise.

Heater was so loud the room is very poor no phone charger only small wireless were only I can charge the AirPods no desk nothing I was for a business travel

Construction works were being carried out directly under my window - yet again. The noise was unbearable and when I asked to be moved I was told the rooms were taken by other guests who had also complained. I was told works would finish at 3am, which I had to be up at 5am and that I could be given earplugs, which I cannot sleep with nor would I expect with the current rates. My company, AGL, has many employees staying with Movenpick and most often we are met with noise. There were 6 people in my group who were all given rooms at the front of the motel. Prior notification of disruptions would be appreciated and would allow us to choose where we would stay, and would strengthen relationships due to this consideration. When speaking with other AGL people most no longer stay with Movenpick.
