I've been staying @ this hotel for years since Fragrance times, which means I accept the hotel in overall aspects. One thing I want improved if possible is door closing mechanism; if the next door guest is indifferent, it makes a terrible big sound in midnight.

My stay was extremely disappointing. While I understood that the room would be small, the poor soundproofing made it almost impossible to rest. I could clearly hear people showering, using hairdryers, talking in nearby rooms, and guests walking through the corridor and closing doors loudly in the middle of the night. My room was also directly behind the elevator, and I could hear the elevator machinery moving up and down throughout the night. I was barely able to sleep. Cleanliness was also inconsistent. The room appeared to have been cleaned only superficially, and the floor had not been properly swept until I raised it with reception. On another occasion, I noticed that a stained towel had not been replaced and again had to inform the receptionist. To their credit, the reception staff responded when I raised these concerns. However, guests should not have to repeatedly report basic issues with cleanliness and room conditions. Unfortunately, the overall experience was very uncomfortable and far below what I expected from a hotel stay.

Very basic. Small room - 1 person with luggage struggles. Noise from corridor. Bathroom is like an airport bathroom with shower. Toilet roll was almost finished on arrival, needs staff to refill.

The hotel is located near the NUS. The staff is professional and friendly. However, there is no free bottled water available. You need to purchase it from the nearby convenience store. You can ask for free toothbrushes, toothpaste, slippers, etc. But they are all of surprisingly low quality. For the consideration of your personal health, please bring your own. And I bought a soap bar to avoid using the shampoo/liquid soap (2-in-1) in the restroom. Oh, speaking of the restroom, the design is fairly unreasonable. Every day, the staff will provide new towels, but they are placed inside the restroom; there is no shelter for the shower area from the rest of the space, so I have to move those towels OUT of the restroom if I still want to have dry towels after the shower. This reminds me that I am not well off enough to afford a better place to stay in Singapore, lol.
