Mostly this was ok. The room was clean, the beds comfy and the breakfast was good. Some pointers - the reception was confusing. The door said reception, but it wasn’t there. There was one sign (just in French) that seemed to suggest where it was, but wasn’t clear. The bathroom needs more storage spaces for a family room there was no where to put our stuff and no shelf in the huge shower.

Two minor points - but a very happy stay. It was not clear that ‘reception’ was for both mercure spa and ibis styles - spent unnecessary 15 minutes wandering about, a fellow guest asked if they could help and even then we had to ask bar staff where to check in. The person ‘manning’ the desk turned out to be a person sitting using a laptop at the bar. Once it was established he was the contact he was v helpful but it was pretty obvious we needed help/direction and it’s a shame (but we’re incredibly grateful as we’d had an 9 hour journey) that another guest had to initially provide it. Lovely breakfast spread - glad of gluten free choices. Even though down at 730am there were not any bowls and v few plates. Had to ask a member of staff to get some - had to wait for this member to appear too. The staff when approached were absolutely lovely but Surely a little bit more proactive initiative on behalf of staff isn’t too much to ask for. This said we liked the hotel and its location and will definitely consider it again on our travels. Loved sitting on the balcony first thing.

Check in with Eva was very nice , she was really helpful We booked dinner in the hotel , but were told it would have to be outside as dogs are no longer allowed (they were last year when we were staying there) We booked a room with a balcony but did not use the balcony as it was so dirty with leaves , twigs and dirt looked like it had not been cleaned or swept in a long time Stairs were extremely dirty from ground floor upwards I did take some photos if you would like to see them So to conclude we were very disappointed

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel was everything we have come to expect from staying at Ibis. It came as a surprise that dogs were not allowed in the restaurant and that in the bar area there was not a bar menu. This is not what we have come to expect when staying overnight.

Beautiful building situated within walking distance from town center, beautiful walk along avenue lined with tree and fabulous houses! Our room with balcony was most welcoming. Very comfortable sitting area outside. The food in the restaurant is pricey but very tasty and non ordinary.

Couldn't charge our car the whole time we were there. We were told we could swim in the pool at a cost and then we we came down with our children we were told it was only for Tribe and Mercure. We asked to speak to the manager and had to wait all day and when we eventually spoke to him he said of course you can swim at a cost! Very disorganised and chaotic. Also, chromecast didn't work the whole time and our children were stuck in the room a few days due to bad weather with nothing to do.
