The fact we have stayed here regularly for over 30 years speaks volumes about the hotel however this visit was only brought back from being a nightmare by the professionalism of manager Mathew when after booking a 3 night stay on the Accor website one month previously and paying up front we were advised on arrival that we had cancelled the booking and the hotel was full. The fact we had paid and in doing so would lose everything if we cancelled along with making the journey from UK meant nothing as the computer said it was cancelled and therefore the problem was ours. Part of the reason for this break was to aid my wife’s recuperation after an operation and frankly the last thing we needed. A room was found for one night at a much higher rate than when booking and we were advised that depending on any cancellation we would be advised. Within a short period of time a message arrived to say we were checked in for the full stay thankfully. Mathew then advised me that he had adjusted the booking conditions to meet the original fees and that this situation had arisen with another customer also. The problem lies with the computer system and urgently needs investigation, a Mathew may not always be available and the consequences frightening. Although a cloud was cast our stay was thoroughly enjoyed and making sure in future we are not totally reliant on a computer generated booking look forward to our next visit.

Lovely little lower ground floor room looking out directly onto the beach. The hotel smells clean and fresh in the communal areas. All staff were friendly and helpful. Paid for parking on site during our stay and enjoyed breakfast in the hotel. After reading some of the reviews this was a pleasant surprise, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a fab location for visiting the beach and for exploring the nearby shops. We would definitely stay again.
