We arrived in the main carpark, entered the building in front of us, expecting to find the reception. No signs to reception, so walked down the stairs to an empty restaurant. Waited several minutes till a gentleman walked passed. He pointed to the general direction of the reception. Still no signs, passed through the restaurant, down corridors and passed a swimming pool. Eventually arrived at the reception, with our suitcases. Was taken by the receptionist back towards the restaurant and told to walk to the end of the corridor, quite some distance with our bags. Arrived at the room, pleased with the room. Went for a shower, I had just put shampoo on, when I realised the shower was not draining and was now flooding the bathroom. Used towels to mop up substantial amount of water. Went to call reception on room phone, but no information as to what number to call. Husband went back to restaurant to get help. Maintenance arrived promptly and sorted blocked drain, but left the wet towels on the floor. We had booked a table for dinner at 7.00pm, but because of bathroom issue, we had to postpone a dinner reservation till 8.30pm. We arrived at the restaurant, had a drink in the bar and then went in at 8.30pm. Our order was eventually taken 40 minutes later and served at 9.30pm. I asked three times for some water, which was something that was given to everyone else that ordered, but not us. This meant to be a special evening at a hotel we had been to many years ago, in a town we adore. My recommendations for this hotel is please put up some signs and put an information sheet in the room. We were left tired and dissatisfied.

we were able to access our room early on Saturday, the room is fantastic, very clean, excellent view. We were able to get a drink in the bar, service was very good. We went out to dinner and on our return were greeted by staff in a very friendly way Next morning breakfast was very good and comprehensive, and on our departure the receptionist was very helpful. We love this hotel and will return soon

We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past, but since the refurbishment it has been much, much improved. A lovely welcoming entrance. Several registration desks, plenty of seating and view of the sea from the large glass windows. The staff were pleased to see us and our booking and key was quickly arranged. There are two restaurant/ dining areas and adjacent bar. The breakfast offered a wide choice, with healthy eating in mind and a Dietician greeted us should we require any advice at breakfast. There is a super gym with a wide range of equipment to satisfy all fitness requirements. Our room was perfect, clean, plenty of towels and dressing gowns. The bathroom could have done with some brighter lighting, small criticism, but overall very satisfactory. We will certainly be booking this Ibis again.

The hotel is relatively new with a great setting and some wonderful vistas - but it looks like the finishing was hurried and the layout and signage in this hotel and spa is somewhat confusing .the restaurant has some good dishes but my food was cold and the service below average

The Location was great, good Chefs in IBIS and Novotel Restaurant, Cleanness could be better and the "complementary Drink" was at the end on my Invoice - because it was Alcohol - told me the employee.

We’ve stayed at the adjoining Novotel several times, so thought we’d check out the new Ibis. We found it very clean, stylish and friendly. Rooms are smaller than the Novotel, but have beautiful views and everything you need. This has to be the best Ibis there is, right on the sand. Free parking and a lovely bar. Breakfast was continental and we fancied a greater choice, so we popped next door for that. I’d highly recommend.

DISGRACEFUL THE IBIS RECEPTION HAS GONE. THE RECEPTION IS AT LEAST HALF A KILOMETRES FROM THE ROOM 136, MY WIFE IS POORLY AND CANNOT WALK THIS TYPE OF DISTANCE, ALSO THE ROOM WAS NOT ON THE FLOOR REQUESTED. THE ROOM WAS NOT PREPARED A PILLOW WAS STAINED AND DID NOT HAVE A PILLOW CASE. IT WAS -2C OUTSIDE AND THE ROOM WAS COLD AND THE HEATING DID LITTLE TO IMPROVE MATTERS. THERE USED TO ELECTRIC RADIATORS. THIS HOTEL IS NO LONGER FIT FOR PURPOSE.

As usual our stay proved to be restful and extremely peaceful. The recent renovations of the hotel proved to be wonderful with the revamped bathroom especially pleasant. The dining/bar area were very well decorated. Our swimming was as usual delightful with Guillaume being very helpful. M. Lefebvre was welcoming as were all the staff.

The hotel and its location were just brilliant. The layout is a little quirky with shared reception with Novo and then a very long walk through the restaurant and bar and onto the corridor for rooms. In room 258 we had the longest walk. But don’t worry everything else at the hotel is excellence plus.

On arrival the experience of checking in was one if the most confusing I have ever had. On entering in from the car park in the wrong entrance it was then a maze of doors and corridors and stairs to try and find the main reception area, once I found my way I was asked are to booked in at the Novatel or Ibis? which then was asked to change desks not a problem. On checking out went to the same desk only t be told no its the other desk over there?????

Good location. Room comfortable and well equiped but quite a few problems

The room was comfortable and well equiped. The problems start at the arrival: in order to check in we had to take two lifts and walk a long corridor. And then we had to come back to the starting point, where all the rooms are. We booked a room with a sea view and were given a room with a staircase in front of the window. We had to walk all the way back to the reception and back in order to get another room. Breakfast was until 10:30 but at 09:50 the staff started preparing the tables for lunch time and they didn't allow people to sit where they wanted, ridiculous!!

The reception is really too far from the rooms. You have no other choice but to go through the restaurant to go to the fitness room or the swimming pool. We had to ask for the balcony to be swept - it was covered with lots of old cigarette stubs and ash. The curtesy tray was only filled up one day out of four !!

The hotel is wonderfully located, rooms aren't big, but practical and comfortable, our room had a beautiful terrace literally into the beach. The gym is excellent and the breakfast offering is one of the best i ever had
