Standard Ibis Budget. Right next to McDonalds which you can easily smell from the car park but I didn’t notice inside. Quiet hotel and check in very efficient and friendly. About 4 miles from motorway with several bakeries nearby if you don’t want the hotel breakfast.

You need to be an acrobat to fit in the shower cubicle. I have never seen one this small.

We had booked online and used the automated check in as reception was closed. It was quick and easy but the machine was unable to dispense a ticket. This was only a minor set back as the code and room number were on screen. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was almost spotless. We had a good night's sleep and the shower was nice and powerful as well as hot enough. The staff were friendly but we didn't need them really.
