Arrived and looked for a disabled parking space. We found one near the main reception which was good and the reception welcome was as expected. The distance from reception to our room was considerable and involved carrying bags along long corridors, down a lift with my wife in her wheelchair. The room was adequate, with an excellent see view. The bathroom was dark and when using the wet room shower water spread into other areas. I then moved my electric car to a closer entrance to unload other luggage. I then wanted to put it on the EV charger which is at the other end of a one way car park. This involves leaving the car park and re entering. Easy for a left hand drive car, but not for a UK one. I had to get out, present my room key at the scanner on the left and then return to the car. Our experience at the bars and restaurant was mixed . Some staff were attentive but others were quite impersonal. The food was reasonably good but nothing out of the ordinary. On our second day the white wine we had ordered was already uncorked which surprised me. I probably should have sent it back. It wasn’t adequately chilled until it had been in the ice bucket for some time. The swimming pool which I used once was very good, but wasn’t obviously organised for anyone in a wheelchair like my wife. On leaving the hotel on the final morning my car was covered in a mixture of sand and water. I had to go directly to a car wash in Étaples, the neighbouring town. On the whole I thought the hotel more interested in their profits than our comfort. Disappointing.

The hotel has prime sea views. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast- worth paying for as a great selection. Bathrooms are quite small. We were disappointed that the pool was closed for some of our stay for maintenance.
