Staff were helpful and friendly, needed more heating in the room

Although I'm a regular at this hotel, I was given a room next to the elevator and I could hear the hum all night...

Well located and not a bad stay, but could've been better. The bar/restaurant area could've been nicer with some light/ambient music, which was ironic as the venue seemed to advertise an Ibis Spotify playlist and "good vibes", but instead it was quite bland. The terrace/garden area was really nice, but had no lights on (despite having string lights).The room was well decorated and sufficiently spacious for a short stay. But the room didn't seem well cleaned, a bit dusty throughout, with fluff and specks on the bedsheets, even after daily room cleaning. Both the towels and bed linen didn't smell particularly fresh (possibly poor quality detergent, or washed with cold water). The towels were really thin and seemed old, and the phone in the room didn't work, which meant I had to physically go down to reception if I needed something.
