Appears to be a relatively new hotel. Very clean and modern. Busy street outside, but there is good soundproofing. Decent sized shower. Large screen tv and good wifi. Kettle in the room, but my only complaint was that there was no coffee or sugar supplied at any stage during my stay. The local area appears to be popular with students. There seemed to be several restaurants and bars, but I did not try any.

Our 2nd booking adjoining this one did not show in the system. Short version of a much longer story is that eventually we were able to book and stay for four nights in total. My son had been quoted 68 euro per night for the extra two nights. After talking with the young woman at reception for 20 minutes and declining 250 euro and then 190 euro for the two nights and repeatedly saying we were quoted 136 euro she eventually consulted 'out the back' and came back and agreed. The next day i happened to read the back of the door sign where it states that the minimum night rate is 69 euro! Why did she not go straight to this in the conversation? Secondly you have no alternative bedding to the duvet - your 24/7 team, sort us out in 15 minutes, failed to find bedding that my husband could sleep under without being too hot. And a suggestion: you recommend not changing the towels every day which is just fine. But the new bathrooms only have a towel rail for one towel. I suggest finding a way to have two towel rails

It was a very nice stay. The breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere and staff were lovely. The only complaint is for my electrical outlets in the bedroom.

Room and bathroom was clean. Nice shower and bed was so comfy. The room had usb in them so that i didn't need an adaptor and could plug my phone in - brilliant as forgot my adaptor.

All the staff, up to cleaning ladies, were extremely helpful and warm. The rooms, contrarily to what I was prepared based on comments on the internet were quite large. I was lucky to have one giving on the garden in the back and it was so beautiful and very quiet.

I was very disappointed as I have been a regular IBIS customer in Brussels and London for many years. Our room at the IBIS Chatelaine (115) was so noisy that we heard conversation and traffic noise from the street. The room was cold on our arrival. Even after 2 days the bathroom remained cold. I would be reluctant to use this hotel again unless I am informed that the issue with noisy rooms has been addressed. Otherwise the hotel looked very good and is in a good location.

Unsatisfied. Cleaners come in the room even though I have my 'Do not disturb' sign on. EVERY TIME. And dont even clean the room properly. Informing about this to the receptionist didnt work either. Walls are thin. Kitchen is unequipped. Another guest came into our connection room in the middle of the night (3am!). Manager never bothered to meet even we requested to meet to resolve the issues.

I am very satisfied with my stay and Ibis Brussels Centre Chatelain, and will certainly book again this hotel when visiting. The staff is very polite, the room is cozy and it has everything needed. The bed is comfortable, the heating is good, as it is December and outside is very cold! I really liked the fresh flowers at the reception, which were changed every other day with new ones, and were so beautiful!

I visited Brussels twice and stayed there both times. The place is great, rooms really clean, tidy, minimalist design but everything you need. The breakfast exceeded my expectations, really great! And it has a bar which is a good spot for a quiet chat. The staff were really helpful, especially the night staff who went out of their way to accommodate my requests. So I really would recommend highly!
