We stayed as a family and enjoyed being able to store food and cook light meals it worked really well for us. Beds were comfy and a great location for exploring.

Great location, and generally the hotel was good. But value for money was not good. The shower had just an all-in-one shower gel/shampoo instead of providing shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The shelf above the kitchen counter was positioned in such a way that I was constantly afraid to hit my head on it. Breakfast was good, but I would expect better variety for the price. Tea was extra 3 euros. The price was much higher than what I would expect from a hotel like this. Last year I stayed at a better hotel in Lisbon for one third the price. I stayed at a better Adagio in Vienna for a little over half the price. Based on other expenses I had in Portugal, the price level there isn't that much lower than in Belgium, but the hotel was much cheaper. And surely the price level in Austria is comparable to Belgium.

I recently booked a room through Trip.com, where I made a full payment in advance. During my five-night stay, I encountered several issues. Upon checkout, there was a misunderstanding with the hotel staff about my payment status. Despite explaining that I had prepaid, the confusion persisted for half an hour, causing me to miss my previously booked train. This resulted in unexpected additional expenses as I had to purchase another ticket, disrupting my travel plans significantly. Additionally, during my stay, I noted a lack of housekeeping services. The room was not cleaned, nor were there any refills of necessary room amenities throughout my five nights at the hotel. This was quite inconvenient and detracted from the overall comfort of my stay. On a positive note, the soundproofing of the rooms is commendable; traffic noise from the nearby road was minimal. The hotel's proximity to the city center made for a pleasant walk there, although the return journey was somewhat challenging due to the incline. One downside is the limited dining options in the evening, as nearby restaurants typically close early. While the tranquility of the location is appreciable, the hotel’s management systems, particularly in resolving booking issues and providing routine cleaning services, need significant improvement to prevent further inconvenience to guests.

It was a nice hotel and friendly receptionists. Being close to metro station was an advantage. But I would also like to mention some issues: firstly when I entered the room, it seemed like clean however there was a long black hair on the towels; secondly while I was taking shower the hot water ceases after 8-10 min. I think I deserve a longer hot water by paying approximately 160 Euro per night.

In general was a great location, safe, bathroom was clean and tidy. Some cracks on the wall but nothing major or deal breaking. One thing to note was that I was given late checkout till 12pm but my door was opened at 11am by cleaners, kinda scary and communication between front desk and cleaner could be better to avoid this.
