Okay stay, quality leaves a lot to be desired

The check-in experience was great and the reception was cozy. However, from then on the accommodation quality started going downhill: - The room itself had dirty walls, the bed was very unstable and seemed that it would fall apart from any larger movements. Also upon entering it had the window open, long enough for the entire room to chill to an uncomfortably cold level. I had to raise the thermostat to 27 degrees and leave it on for basically overnight for the temperature to get back up to a reasonably warm state. - The breakfast is very basic, fitting everything on one table basically, I've had hostels provide a greater food variety than this. - One night the file alarm was triggered (which is not a problem in its own right - it's there for safety), however, after evacuation no hotel employee was there at the reception to explain the situation, we even had to call the listed number at the desk to get ahold of someone. Did this all hinder my stay? Not really. But was it an overall pleasing and welcoming one? I would not say that either.
