I choose this hotel because of its proximity to the tube station, but also the shopping area in Louise. The rooms are simple but spacious and clean. The breakfast is reach and it is a big plus in Bruxelles. It is good value for money considering the average prices in Bruxelles.

Inexperienced staff at reception. Room had a broken bedside lamp and cigarette burns on TV shelves. Cooked breakfast was cold and there was hardly anything else and at times no bread. The breakfast lady seemed agitated and she was unsettling. I have stayed there twice in December when everything was fine. My husband and I have used Accor for the last 20 years and we always were very satisfied.

I've travelled to many ibis styles and this has to be the worst one. The rooms were stark, drab and quite frankly made me on edge (as a solo female traveller). It was so sterile it was unnerving. The rooms lacked character and were just depressing rooms which are oddly styled and set out plus had no character at all - there wasn't even any pictures on the wall. The coffee machine and the downstairs seating was nice and the reception staff - hence rating it 2/10 but the revolving door into the hotel was quite difficult to navigate. Overall the room made me worry for my safety and that is never a positive sign.
