Very convenient when arriving by Eurostar to Brussels Midi. Major disappointment on check-out. I did the courteous thing and left my room early and asked to leave my bag in left luggage. Only option was lockers with a fee to pay. I feel that I was helping the hotel by leaving my room, and ths felt like a kick in the teeth. I do not expect to pay to leave a bag for half a day in a hotel where I have stayed for 2 nights. I am a loyalty card holder and proabably should have asked for a late check-out just to keep my bag in my room with no fee. Why try to help the hotel?

It was nice and clean and convenient for the Gare du Midi. the new rooms were a good size

I was staying for business, so it was really handy that breakfast was available very early. Although there was not a huge choice of evening meals, the food was reasonably priced for a city centre hotel and I had three different dishes over the three day stay. It would have been good to have some shampoo/body wash in the shower cubicle. As the one by the wash basin was attached to the wall, I could not take it in the shower with me, so improvised by decanting a small amount into the tooth mug every day!!

The check in was fine, the location was great for the main Eurostar station, the room was big and the bed comfortable. However I was in transit from Denmark to London and the trains were all delayed so I only spent a few hours in the hotel and didn’t sleep very well. But that wasn’t the fault of the hotel.

Stay was ok Water in the shower was warm, not hot, changed rooms and the water was still warm

1st room I was put in was a disabled room (bathroom) and smelt terrible of smoke. The 'management' have emailed my final bill to me 3 times, and 3 times I have replied asking for it to be in English so I can read and understand it. Still waiting. So that definitely reflects on my rating as well. Bar doesn't have many drinks that are listed on their menu (eg some of beer-lager and Ibis being 2 I couldn't get). Ladies in breakfast room very slow. No forks-we asked 3 times before any were brought out. Milk running out of coffee machine. Many tables not cleaned off of dishes.

Lovely room overlooking the railway. Plenty of space in the room. Arrived late so didn’t go out but had a late meal and a couple of drinks in the bar. Pleasant surroundings. Didn’t bother with breakfast and stayed in my room until 12.
