We arrived early after a long flight and we knew we would not have our room. We were greeted by a young man at reception who helped us store our luggage’s and asked us to be back around 2h00. When we arrived at 2h15 we were greeted by a very unpleasant agent who insisted the room will not be ready until 3h00. She was asking her colleagues to also say the same little realizing I understood her language. Meanwhile my husband went to see the young man who was able to accommodate us and get us our room at 2h45. Very unpleasant agent Once we got to the room there was no AC and there was no soap to wash our hands. When we mentioned it at the front desk we got the same negative experience with both these agents. Once they left at 3h00 we went back to speak to another agent and the situation was resolved.

Spent 2 separate nights- our party had 2 rooms for each night. The room was clean and basic. Lots of street noise on the first night. Additional pillows in the rooms and maybe some tea/ coffee facilities in the room would make me more likely to rebook.

The Brussels Midi IBIS is my hotel of choice when staying in Brussels but I was disappointed that the access lift was not operational and a member staff did not come forwards to help me get my luggage into the reception area. The cost of breakfast seems to have increased a lot since last May. Apart from that I was satisfied with the service provided.

A great position. The bar is nice, with comfortable seating. Breakfast was good although some options had run out at 9am.
