While it was understandable that the room was old, the toilet bowl was stained and looked dirty. The shampoo/body wash was also empty when we arrived. The tissue roll provided was also an old one and it looked like it had been there for quite a while (the tissue paper was already yellow and crusty). I understand we were only staying there for one night but I don't think that's a valid reason to not provide us with a quality stay. I've stayed in a number of ibis hotels (even budget ones) across Europe and so far this has been the most disappointing one I've been to.

Very clean, located by the Euro star, Bar staff friendly and helpful Very disappointed in that there wasn't any kettle in the rooms when asked could we even pay extra as we had a 5 month baby, they said we don't have any to give out, and we should have booked premium. We could use the kettle at the bar. Luckily we had taken a flask other wise we would have been up and down constantly to get water for the formula. This was not clear when booked and was surprised no kettles. Other than that it was good. The food from the bar was very nice, breakfast was good.

We stayed 4 nights to visit the Christmas markets in Brussels, Bruges and Antwerp. The train station is literally just across the road so perfect for visiting other places on the train. The city centre took us about 25 minutes to walk in so the hotel was a good compromise. If you weren't going to other places you might be better staying closer to the centre. We had a quiet room at the back of the hotel and it really was quiet. The bed was really comfy and the pillow was fantastic - I wanted to pack in in my suitcase on leaving! I would recommend this hotel and would certainly stay again but very slight negatives were that the room could have been a bit cleaner, a bit more water pressure in the shower would have been good and the tea/coffee making facilities could have been better - we had to ask for tea bags. But overall very good.

The hotel is well located, very convenient for any transport, not far from the city center, spacious rooms and delicious breakfasts, the staff that works at the reception are always happy to help, polite and nice guys!
