it was not clean in the room. The place is loud at night and during the day. Breakfast was good and staff are kind (gave me iron when I asked)

However, we are sorry that your stay did not fully meet your expectations. While we are located in a bustling area of the city, we understand that you found the noise levels to be a concern. Our hotel is equipped with double glazing to minimize any inconvenience, and we regret if this was not sufficient during your visit. Regarding the cleanliness, we want to express our deepest apologies as this is not reflective of our high standards. We are taking your feedback seriously and addressing these areas diligently to ensure a welcoming environment for all our guests. We would like to point out that our guests generally appreciate the quality of the service and we take your comment very seriously as we strive to ensure a pleasant stay for every guest. Additionally, our convenient location opposite the Brussels-South railway station makes it ideal for travelers arriving by international trains, and we are just a 20-minute walk away from the historical heart of Brussels. The hotel room was very comfortable and spacious. This was the only plus of our stay We arrived at 17.00 hours and told abruptly that our room was not ready!! Eventually we were offered a room, there was no welcome to the hotel or directions to lift/room. No coffee or milk in the room and we continually had to ask at reception for replenishment. Again service was not pleasant. A request for an iron over the phone to reception and I was told to come and get it..a quality hotel would deliver to the room !! Service at the bar was slow and again staff were not pleasant. The front of hotel was regularly crowded with non residents and characters of a rough nature leaving a feeling of insecurity when entering and leaving the hotel.

Very close to the Eurostar terminal and express trains to Brugges/Ghent etc. The hotel room was very comfortable and spacious. This hotel is across the road from Brussels midi, where we stayed for 1 night only before having to catch a very early train the next day. We arrived in the evening, but there was still someone at reception who spoke good English. They put us in a room suitable for wheelchairs, which we hadn't booked. The room was very big and had 3 beds, presumably one for a carer. The beds were good and we had a good night sleep. The bathroom was also huge (plenty space for a wheelchair and movement). There were also handrails next to the toilet and shower and a lower hight wash basin. Toiletries were provided. However, THERE IS NO COFFEE OR TEA MAKING FACILITY IN THE ROOM! This is massive let-down for me, but later we saw that you have to upgrade to PREMIUM in order to get that. So it was our own mistake, but you want to make a nice cup of tea after travelling all day and I assume it would be standard nowadays. So be aware of that when you book. The other thing is, you hear the trams till very late in the night and from very early in the morning. If you are a light sleeper like me, you may want to bring some earplugs.
