The room was very old and in poor condition. It clearly hasn’t been renovated in a long time and is in need of repair. The bathroom was also in very bad shape and looked worn out and unpleasant. The floor was covered in stains, which made the whole room feel dirty and poorly maintained.

The location is great, being right next to the train station, but the street noise at night can be a bit much. I need to work, but unfortunately, the cafe is under renovation, and the staff were not helpful at all. Even if you have gold or platinum status, it means nothing here as you have to wait for room just like everyone else.

Angelin F. Families - Confirmed reviews ALL

Although ideally located near the gar du midi station Which was perfect for quickly getting the metro, train, bus and tram along with a few nice restaurants on the side, the inside of the hotel is a different situation. Whilst the staff are friendly, they were not proactive and helpful. We had a pram and suitcase and there Were two steps at the entrance going to the reception and the lift to help with this was broken and blocked off which meant that each and every time we left the building we had to lift the pram and take it down their stairs. Thankfully there were two of us but not once did a single member of staff offered to help bring that pram down even when they saw that we are alone which I believe is very poor customer service. Secondly, if you go to the reception desk and wait to try and get the attention of the person, they just completely ignore you unless you say excuse me. They do not approach you to say 'everything okay' or 'can I help?'. They just don't give you eye contact until you say something despite seeing that we are at the desk waiting to be served. On a separate note, generally the building was quite tardy, the carpets were very dirty, especially the ones in the bedrooms, the bathroom shower was very moulded. Something could have been done like carpet treatment to clean the stains and mould removal in the bathrooms. Everything is self-service here. There is a phone for the reception in the room but if you called them they would tell you to come down and get the things yourself. For example, we wanted a iron and we were told we have to come downstairs and collect it. There were no kettles in the room which we could have done with. These days even lower rated hotels tend to have the very basic, a kettle in the room. We were disappointed with this. The lifts were very small and they did not having a left luggage service which usually is provided free with any hotel. This was also disappointing. We had to pay twice to keep our luggage there. They could also do with more restroom facilities on the ground floor itself. On the plus side, the rooms were very spacious.

The location is unbeatable, situated right next to Brussels-Midi station. It's incredibly convenient for those taking the Eurostar, international trains, or the local metro. You can save a lot of energy by not having to haul luggage around the city. However, housekeeping failed to replenish the bottled water in my Superior Room during my multi-day stay. Great location, but service details could be improved.

Dear Xian Y.. We thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We are delighted to hear that our proximity to Brussels-Midi station provided the convenience you needed during your travels. As a hub for international rail connections, we take pride in making arrivals and departures as seamless as possible for our guests. We sincerely regret that some aspects of your Superior Room experience fell short of your expectations. Our housekeeping team typically refreshes amenities daily, and we wish you had brought this matter to our attention during your stay so we could have promptly addressed it. It’s also heartening to know you found value in our loyalty offerings and enjoyed the welcome drink prepared by our bar staff. Your recognition of these elements motivates us to maintain high standards across all areas of service. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again. Kind regards, Christophe Lac, Hotel Manager
